I do not know. Is the GC job better than Sycamore? If so, why wouldn't Coach Head just apply for the HC job?

Looking at Sycamore's record and scores, the question would be, why would he leave Sycamore?

Say that they would allow him too, do you think he can get those assistants that have moved on to go with him?

If he can put together a staff that he once had when SC was having the 6-8 win seasons, he may can do the same at GC.. As far as I know, a majority of those coaches have moved on but I could be mistaken.

This is so off-based its not even funny. Who is your source? Did it come from Coach Holliday or Coach Craig? If neither, then you are starting rumors that cannot be backed up.

The upcoming senior class did not go undefeated their freshman year. I know for a fact that they lost to Beech at Portland their freshman year.

Several factors for Crabtree. I believe he still lives out in that area and commutes to Beech. He interviewed for the East Hickman job when it was first available. Also, I think he played at Dickson. He coached at Creekwood before he went to Beech. I am not saying he would apply or that he is unhappy at Beech. Just giving reasons as to why he may look at the opening, thats all not trying to start any rumors whatsoever.

So more students automatically makes you a better team? I guess by your logic Camden is better than Alcoa since they have 100 more students. Peabody never had a chance since they have a 100 less than Camden. Westview should have beaten you since they have 130 more students. That is by your logic.

Camden 7-1 against teams combined 27-37. Have only beaten one team with a winning record. Peabody and North Side have a combined 4-12 record.

So scoring 42 points on a total of 31 offensive plays( that's for the entire game not just the starting offense) is running up the score? If you question where I got that total from it was in the Leaf Chronicle. Is it not the job of the defense to stop the offense? Instead of questioning character of any of the coaches, why not question the HC defense? Why couldn't they stop SC's offense? From what I have seen of Camden from earlier in the year, they run a 4-3 defense the same type of defense that HC runs. Why not give the starters a look at the type of defense they will be playing the next Friday? Will Camden's defense be better, absolutely. Camden is a very talented team that is extremely well coached.

If you watch the film again, you will see that the qb carried out his fake. He lowered his shoulder due to #9 coming off the edge to hit him. You say he grabs his face mask or at least part of his helmet, but if you look closer you will see that he is at his shoulder pads. It is #9 that has the qb's face mask as he is the one who threw the qb down. Once the qb was on the ground decides to throw punches. Exactly how many punches were thrown by the qb first? None, the first punch or should I say punches were thrown by the Cardinals, who by what everyone says does not play dirty. Last time I checked, throwing punches is dirty. No matter what the cause may or may not be, punches are not a part of football. That makes Adamsville a much dirtier team. As far as grabbing or hitting below the belt, once again watch the film and you will see that your grandson was wrapped up around the waist and tackled. There was no punch thrown, and there was no grabbing done.

So the teams that Adamsville has played up until this point are that much better than what Stewart County has played? The combined win/loss for Adamsville's opponents is 7-18, and Stewart County is 10-20. Seems pretty even. Win/loss total for the teams that Adamsville has beaten is 1-14, and Stewart County is 8-17. I am sure we can talk about the quality of the opponents for both, but the fact is none of this really matters. Last year does not matter. The only thing that matters is this game. All the talk on coacht is just that talk. What I am trying to figure out is why that most of the talk on this board is from adults from both sides. Last time I checked it is the players that play the game, and not the parents or booster club members for both sides. School spirit is one thing, but some of the things that I have read in this thread takes it past school spirit. Will this game be a great one? I think the majority of us will agree that it should be a very hard fought game. Does this game have playoff contention riding on it? Yes, it does and that goes for both schools. I for one cannot wait for tomorrow night for what I hope will be a great game. I hope that both teams will come out of this game injury free.
