    Boyd/CCS?

Thanks RHSfan, good luck to your team as well....I hope to see you guys in Memphis. We have to win on Friday though. If anyone knows anything about Westmoreland let me know please. I'm not asking for a scouting report, just anything general(how they've done this year, good hitting team or defense? or both?) We know that they must be good to play Friendship so close so we need to bring our A game. Travel safely Boyd and Westmoreland.

    Boyd/CCS?

Well CCS won 6-1, but it was 1-1 going into the 7th, CCS just finally started to hit the ball. Good luck to Boyd in the sectionals. Anyone know who won the FCS-Westmoreland game?

    Boyd/CCS?

Any other predictions? I would give mine, but I'm obviously biased so that would be pointless. Who is Boyd throwing? If you don't want to say, that's no big deal, I'm just curious. Should be another close game, just trying to get better for that next game to go to state.
  4. Who's throwing for both teams?

    1-A

Thanks RHSFan, you too....two more games to Memphis, but take it one at a time.
  6. Pickel pitched for Bradley Central, and I don't know who started for Cleveland, but I believe Blake Carver pitched the last 2 innings. Don't know who will throw for BC, but if Carver feels rested enough I'd expect him to be out there.
  7. Hahaha, that was a funny post lf76, you're a fool with that one.
  8. Congrats to Boyd on the big win and sectional birth. I guess we'll see you on Wednesday, is the game going to be played at Soddy, and what time? To the Valley players-good job on playing a good team close, ya'll made a lot of improvement at the end of the year. Good luck to you next year.
  9. Tommy-How many rings do you have and how many national rankings has your team been in? I don't play for Farragut or even know anyone that goes there, I live in the Chattanooga area, but it sounds to me like you're just trying to start something. The first post was fine, but then the inciting question in your last post, and it was only your second one. Sour grapes maybe?
  10. Scotty28-Walker Valley is a great team with great players, I don't go there, but I go to school in the Chattanooga area and keep up with baseball pretty well, and Walker Valley is one of the best teams in the area. They have a good pitching staff and some tough hitters, they are hard to beat. To everyone else, I don't think scotty28 was trying to cut-down WV, I think he/she was really just asking a simple question.

    1-A

In region 3A it's Chattanooga Christian vs. Boyd-Buchanan for the championship.
  12. CCS beat Grace today 13-2 in 5 innings. Ben Wharton improved to 12-0 on the year. So what happened with the Boyd/Valley game?
  13. Boyd will be the home team since LV finished second in the district after CCS beat them 16-8 in the second championship game. If LV plays as well as they did against us Friday night it will be a great game. I predict a two-run ball game, don't know who will win though. Good luck to both teams.
  14. CCS won 11-1 in 6 innings. This puts CCS in the district finals tomorrow night at 5:30, against the winner of the South Pittsburg/Sale Creek vs. Lookout Valley game. An if necessary game would follow the 5:30 game if LV beat CCS.
  15. That is a pretty interesting way to calculate things soccerboy, but like you already mentioned, it leaves out the defenders, and those who may be better players that just aren't scorers.
  16. Haha, yeah, Drew makes some pretty messed up noises when he messes up and when he scores.
  17. Chattanooga Christian finished the regular season with a record of 22-3-1 and 8-0 in the district. Only notable wins recently are over Soddy-Daisy.
  18. Biggun4-McCallie did not dominate that game. Both teams are very good and played well, and hard. CCS had just as many if not more legitimate chances to score as McCallie. The one goal that McCallie did have came on a cross. That does not take away from them as they are a great team, but to say they dominated is a little far-fetched. Good luck to both teams as they start their respective tournaments. Remillard had some good runs, but it seemed as though he was being almost too team-oriented. It seemed to me that if he had just taken it himself a few more times he may have had a few more opportunities to score. It's definately better though to be a team player than one who tries to do it all.
  19. Dallas has been doing well, but he's been injured and not able to play much lately. I can't argue with either Wharton or Barnett being MVP, both great players, but if it's just between those two I would think that Wharton would get it because as long as I've been in high school the MVP has pitched and played another position. We'll see though. I'm adding this to it: Does anyone know if the voting is before or after the tournament? Last impressions could make a big difference. [Edited by Dice1550 on 5-1-03 12:19P]
  20. Jryan5, do you think that LV will get more players on the team than CCS, or did you just put that amount of players because you don't know who else would be on the team from CCS. Personally I feel that we(CCS) have about 6 or 7 players that are good enough to be on it, unfortunately I think only 4 people will make it. Who is MVP?
  21. Thank you RHSFan, we hope to be able to hang out with your players in Memphis, that would be great. Gotta get to class, but to the FRA guy, get over yourself, and don't make a username just to get on here and badmouth people.
  22. Nope, must not be those Rockwood Tigers that you're referring to, because these Rockwood Tigers haven't lost to FRA.
  23. FRA and Chattanooga Christian aren't exactly pushovers anyways, but since you mentioned it FRA didn't beat Rockwood. CCS did, but it was a close and hard-fought game. Depending on who they have to play to get there, I wouldn't be suprised to see Rockwood in Memphis. Oh yeah, us private school supporters don't give a rat's ... as to who's going to state, just so long as our team goes too .
  24. That's a great story, and can be a great inspiration to anyone who is going through struggles. Keeps things in perspective as well.
  25. Trent is a great pitcher with a bright future, but when did Young Harris become the best JUCO in the nation?
