Should be a great game, South had to fight with everything they had to win the regular season game. South will have to play mistake free football to win. Boone is a talented team that never quits. Very hard fought game. South except the first and the last drive struggled offensively. Defense played one of their best games all season. Held Cozart in check. I would like to see our offense play like the last drive every series. Catholic very big up front, but I feel like they were gased toward the end of the game. Keep on keeping on Rebels, don't lose your focus, get ready for Boone you will have our hands full. Congrats on the win over Catholic, a very talented team. One game at a time. Go Rebels!!!

I had said in an earlier post, don't under estimate Daniel Boone. I think South did and it nearly got them beat.

Hats off to both teams last night. It was a great game. South made to many mistakes early, but found a way to win. Boone is a solid team. They will do well.

Wow, great game tonight. South showed alot of heart tonight to come back to beat Greeneville. Greeneville will win alot of games this year, a very solid team and well coached. Best of luck the rest of the season. South Rebels keep up the good play, you even got WaCo pulling for us.

First of all, Congrats to Greeneville on a hard fought victory Friday night. Stay focused on Maryville, they are like a well oiled machine. Maryville makes few mistakes and GQ and staff will have them ready. Greeneville you have a chance to win this game, you guys have a talented football team. Good luck and make us proud. Next, I would like to thank the Rebels for the most exciting football I have watched over the last four years. This team has everything to be proud of. Stacy and staff you guys have turned this program around. Bradely Davenport, I have watched you grow, ever since county league football. You have accomplished what alot of kids will dream about. You are a fine young man and a talented player. Taylor Fletcher, I have never watched such an explosive running back that never quits. You have been outstanding, hold your head up high. Kitz, great season. Congrats to the Rebel Football Team, it took a team effort to do what you have accomplished. Now, for the trash talk toward the other teams, we need to support our high school teams and players. Everyone wants to win, but don't talk down to the kids. If most people that are posting are adults, we need to act like it. Thanks to all of the area teams, staffs and parents, that put in countless hours preparing these kids for life. And we need to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for all he does for us.

So everyone has an opinion, but To say Curt Phillips isn't impressive hasn't been around football as much as you say you have. This kid gives it his all each and every game. Curt has been a leader throughout his career. I believe the Knoxville area has 3 or 4 times more athletes to choose from than this area has. So you should be dominant every year , but your not. Everyone can't be Maryville, but give this area a little credit, we do have some good athletes. Go South Rebels and congratulations on your fine run over the last 3 years, thats something to be proud of.
