  1. Farragut will have a monster year again. Here are just a few players to look for and some estimated numbers they will have: Cade Stallings= 16 Mac Thoreson= 13 Nicky Delmonico= 11 Curt Powell= 12 Ethan Bennett= 6 Blake Hayes= 3 Everybody on that list but Ethan Bennett has proven they can absolutely mash, and Ethan is one of the strongest kids i've seen for his age, he is huge. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Farragut hit 60-70 again this year. Best team in the state, hands down, and probably the biggest and strongest. Coach Trace Pate does a great job with these guys in the weight room.
  2. Either way its a personal foul. It's either late or contact to the head of the QB (not to mention with the helmet) and its a 15 yard penalty. He got hit late all night long, but somehow Farragut kept getting hit with the drive killing penalties. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Go figure. Ooltewahs defensive line is GOOD though.
  3. ok...three plays? look at the heritage game and the other and u will see. and if he gives it away so much, then why does he always complete the pass for either a touchdown or a big gain? Reese is one of the best high school quarterbacks i have ever seen at running the play action pass... HIS FAKES ARE SICK!!!!! check out the one against WB from the I-formation...can u say D-I-R-T-Y!
  4. hahahah...ur logic is hilarious!! it was a playaction pass that was so wide open, he had to hurry up the play action!! hahah first it was offensive strategy websites, now this!! really!?!?!? check his other 15 TD passes on there and the 10+ rushing TDs and tell me what you find /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. 1. Why is no one talking about Farragut's run game? Over 1000 yards for the season for a team who passes 65% of the time...2. If you play bump and run against Farragut, you will get burnt. No ifs, ands, or buTTs about it. 3. Reese got pressured the most in the WB game and what happened? He threw for 350 yards and broke his own school record. I stick by my earlier prediction that Farragut will win big, Ooltewah thinks just because they played Maplewood (who is not very good, so i dont know why) that they have already been "tested" like they will be against Farragut. This game will be over after the 3rd quarter. And if Ooltewah makes mistakes, it could be over by halftime folks. Farragut is a real TEAM. Ooltewah has a couple of studs up front and that is it. MAIL IT IN!
  6. Farragut= smokin young swedish model Maryville= somewhat attractive middle aged woman Alcoa= hilary clinton
  7. This is a good point, but lets think back to Farragut's offense last year...can you say...UNO DIMENSIONAL? Poor Andre runnin against 9 in the box everytime, brings back sad, sad memories... but THIS year! The offense is stacked, run and pass, and they destroy worlds. That is all.
  8. If that's where ur coaches get their offensive strategy from, God help you. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  9. Here's some more "bulletin board material" for the owls. Farragut is going to beat you. Please dont start any fights on the sidelines when you get whooped this year please. And when we're in the victory formation, don't come barreling through the line and knock our QB down. Reese Browning aka Peyton Manning, might just throw for 500 yards. In fact, I am guessing 589 yards and 9 touchdowns. Put this on your bulliten board and try and stop the best pocket QB in Tennessee. Unless you put Eric Berry at safety, you cannot stop him. Thank you, and goodnight.
  10. Couldn't compete? Farragut beat powell not 4 years ago i do believe. but then again, unless u live in blount county and ur name is maryville then you are not allowed to compete with real teams like halls...also, ur son must be d-1 for sure because he looks rather large on paper...too bad he didnt go to the d-1 breeding ground for the average high school football player wanting to become d-1 prospects they now call maryville! (name was too long so they changed it)
  11. yes, 5104. shall i predict the score of the game? Farragut- 35 Maryville- 17. Anything else?
  12. No really, im serious. Farragut will end Maryville's streak. Ive never been wrong predicting something on the almighty coachT. Dont worry though, I will come back in a year and let you all apologize for saying i was wrong..
  13. from what the owl faithful have been posting, they have NO passing game whatsoever. this reminds me of another team Farragut played this year...and i dont think ooltewah has a Devrin Young type player. that being said, i like Farragut big in this one (when do i not?) despite the owl's 1 loss. Farragut- 34 Ooltewah- 7
  14. AWESOME! Farragut gets to end Maryville's winning streak!
  15. Farragut took him out of the game. No kick returns, no punt returns. And most importantly, no touchdowns. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  16. reese is doin good, he separated his none throwing shoulder in the 2nd quarter of the WB game...and still threw for 350 yards...i dont think it will effect him too much /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  17. yea i agree with u...someone will have to step up on defense in the future if they arent doin good and be a leader. if they wait till halftime against Soddy, Ooltewah, or Oak Ridge, they may not be able to come back. and about the running game.. has anyone else noticed that when Farragut wants to run the ball (see McMinn game) they are very very good running it? it just seems like most of the time, they are more passionate about pass blocking and letting Reese do his thing.. if they could get that passion for the run game as well, they would be unstoppable.
  18. Reese Browning=junior=terrible news for everyone on Farragut's schedule the next 2 years. He pretty much carried the offense all night with strong, accurate throws from the pocket, rolling out, and even improvising a few times. The numbers speak for themselves. WB played a good game, but they just had too many injuries and not enough depth (and their QB is pretty bad). Credit Farragut's D tho for totally shutting down WB's offense for 40 straight minutes. When they adjusted to the short passing game and the screens, there was little WB could do. Way to come back and finish strong after all of Knoxville thought the upset was coming in the first 8 minutes.. by the way...CSS stinks!!! they cut off the dang game 10 minutes into the game for two teams no one in knoxville cares about...way to go..
  19. From what i've heard Montre may get limited action this week. I still say Farragut has the best offense in the state and will win this one 41-13.
  20. DB/WR #10 blake potter...kid is a stud
  21. i've got a question. if maryville didnt have a 64 game win streak...would they even be in this poll? i think reputation has way to much to do with this. I know for a fact maryville isnt the 44th best football team...heck if they played in georgia, florida, alabama, california, they wouldnt be number 44 in the state. i dont mean to hate, its just that tennessee football is really quite awful compared to powerhouse football states. i cant speak for MBA because im not familar with their team or who they play, etc...but i have heard they are legit
  22. Off night for Farragut's offense and Reese Browning. They looked drained and it didn't help that they had the worst student section i've ever seen. No worries here, easy win. Im sure all the guys are lookin forward to the off week. And i really will love posting on here after we play ooltewah. I might just make that trip just so i can see the "game". GO ADS!
  23. Ok i guess u didnt sense my sarcasm...i only posted that because the alcoa people were talking about their scrimmages and us "backing out of a scrimmage" because we're scared or some kind of nonsense. i think if Farragut and Maryville played this year it would be a very intense game since both teams seem to be pretty much equal and it would surely come down to the last plays of the game
  24. that was the most ignorant post i have seen. i guess since we beat bearden by 38 and Dobyns-Bennett only beat them by 17 then we will kill them when we play?
  25. haha ok ok i guess the whole thugs and clowns was a tiny bit harsh. my bad, i guess, dont have a hernia. All i know is that Farragut would run Alcoa this year, better team and better players...i dont see how u could make an argument with that. Also, when Farragut scrimmaged Maryville this summer they outscored them by atleast 2 TDs.
