Another big series between CPA and Cascade. CPA needs a sweep for a chance for first and Cascade needs a sweep for second. Still lots of baseball left for this district!
I would expect two teams from this district to have a good chance to getting back to the state again. Doesn't seem to a lot of enthusiasm for the teams in 12-AA. Lots of good baseball being overlooked.
This is going to be a great district race as all teams seem to be evenly matched. Giles gave Spring Hill a great series despite losing both games. Everyone except Giles is within one game of first place. Two leaders face off next week.
Sounds like you have been called out. So step up to the table and get the problem straightened out. Help the team get better by supporting your coach! He is giving you the chance to help. Now it is up to you.
Don't forget another SEC player, Sam Howard, who could shoot the lights out, who played for Goodpasture. So that is 3 SEC players on one team in A and they didn't win the state. Those teams could compete with anyone today!
TSSAA needs to wake up and see that CPA is may be the only reason people want a split. Privates don't want them and publics have to suffer the consequences of the TSSAA turning their head to the unethical behavior at best of this glorified AAU team.
This was one of the best posts have I have seen about these specialized camps. Knew there was a lot of bad things happening with these camps but this does explain why kids are jumping ship all the time in Rutherford and Williamson . Basically a legal way to recruit.
Thanks for the insight.
Nothing is going to happen with split anytime soon. TSSAA does not want it to happen, that is why they keep giving excuses about it being a complicated situation that takes much time. Just split them up and let private schools decide how they want to split themselves up. Give CPA a gold ball in every sport and they will be happy.
