  1. You may call yourself WrestlingGod,; however, you are not God and you do not dictate here. You may think you are the Almighty; however, i beg to differ. I can have an opinion that is different others. Just think, I don't need credentials to note that you are so high on yourself that you named yourself with this name. Hope it makes you feel better but it does not change who you are.
  2. You are the retard and it shows by you grammar and spelling. I did not say that he was not good because he got beat by Hooker. All I said was he got beat by Hooker. Now, who is the retard? Case in point: haven't, not havent, December, not december. touche You are such an idiot. 1.) All I said was that I did not believe he was that good. That is my opinion. I did not say that he was not good because he got beat by Hooker. You are the one who needs to re-read the post 2.) It did happen and I have more class is my little finger than you have in your entire body. Please stop with all of the lying. It did happen as I know it for a fact. It was the Grand Championships that Chuck Bean put on. 3.) State Champ indeed 4.) I did not pick Hooker. Read the post again idiot 5.) This is my opinion
  3. 113 lb TJ Hicks was tough and would have beaten Blake Thomas. No question. Also, Newberg was not that good. Got beat at the Grand Championships by Hooker who went up a weight class to wrestle him and his mother through a fit because it was going to ruin his undefeated season. Newberg lost to a lower weight class wrestler. Certainly not the best at 170 lbs. Also, Boykin over Kramer. He did beat him 2 years ago. I digress.
  4. Great post; however, there is some information missing. Raymond Eason won 3 state championships and put on a show in the finals every year. I also believe their are other wrestlers missing from this list. Can somebody help me with updates.
  5. If the Cleveland wrestler was not ejected, the official should have been. How can an official not eject this wrestler? The TSSAA must be more demanding of their officials and hold them to a higher standard. Just like the 170 lb DII final, the official was out of their league. If the officiating does not improve, we can anticipate more outbursts like this.
  6. Great idea; however, I don't see many DII wrestlers participating this tournament. I think it is great idea; however, coming off the Prep Nationals, these DII wrestlers will be looking for a break or moving on to another sport. DI and D1 A-AA may be moving on to something else as well. Thoughts of having this during the season? Most know who the top wrestlers are during the season. Just a thought.
  7. Thanks for answering #2 and #3; however, have not heard from #1. Who was the man yelling at the FR cheerleaders? Also, who was the man yelling at the Baylor staff during the 106 lb match at the state duals between Baylor and Ryan. His language was terrible. I could not believe he would yell at Coach Nelson and his staff like that.
  8. Just watched the tape and this is disgusting. Please tell me the Cleveland wrestler was ejected from the tournament. If not, the official should be ejected as this was intentional on multiple occasions. Now I know what the uproar was all about. I missed it as I was watching another match. Wow. That is all I can say. I wonder what the Cleveland fans are having to say about this after the way their team performed. Cleveland looked dominant this weekend. Sad to see this from one of their wrestlers.
  9. Certainly there are people who saw the match and can tell us what happened just like they have told us what happened in all of these other instances without a match archived.
  10. As this is a recap, I have a couple of questions: 1.) What Baylor fan was yelling at the FR cheerleaders? 2.) What happened between the match between Cleveland and Page on late Friday night when the Cleveland coach had to escort his wrestler off the mat. 3.) Why was there an issue when Mason walked off the mat? This is a Recap and just wondering?
  11. Congratulations on your next endeavor. Best of luck.
  12. Somms, Praying for your wife and your family.
  13. Coach, glad to see you reaching out. What are the other Regions doing with their teams? Are they picking them on their own or is there wrestle-off's? I don't know. Just asking how all of the Regions are completing their teams for this event. Could somebody please advise how they are filling their teams. Thanks.
  14. It is hard to follow all of this; however, what if the wrestler has other plans the weekend of the State Tournament and can not wrestle that weekend? I would hope this would not disqualify them from wrestling at Fargo. Again, I do not understand the rules, however, I hope that a wrestler who wrestled in a Region and qualified for Fargo will be allowed to wrestle even if they can't wrestle in the state. Not taking a side here, hope it works out for all so that we can get as many to Fargo if they want to go.
  15. This same thing happened with Bowers transferring from Cleveland to Christian Brothers and did not sit out. Christian Brothers is not a boarding school; however, i believe the family moved.
  16. I noticed it as well. Is Noah transferring to Baylor? He was wearing a Baylor Wrestling Club singlet. He did not have Coach Roberts coaching him. He had Baylor wrestlers coaching him and Baylor wrestlers in his corner. Is he transferring? If so, I am sure Beech is not happy about this develpment if this is true. Will he be eligible? I am told that many kids that transfer have to sit out a year. Will Noah?
  17. Congrat's to all of those wrestlers who competed in this great tournament. Tennessee is doing better and better every year. Good luck to all who are left. Question: Did Chittum lose to the Union County wrestler (Escaleara) who now wrestles for Wyoming Seminary? It looks like he gave him a heck of a match.
  18. Sommers, You do realize that Father Ryan has wrestled Mater Dei and Buford in the past. They used to go to the Mater Dei tournament and they used to come to the Father Ryan tournament; however, they can't come now because of State rules. Ryan has wrestled Archer when they were the top dog until their coaches moved to Buford and went to the Buford tournament last year. I believe that Cleveland used to have Archer come to their tournament for years so these teams are wrestling the top dog. So it is not only Cleveland going to the major tournaments but Baylor and McCallie and Christian Brothers travel and wrestle the top competition every year. As far as Nashville Catholic, McCallie and Baylor youth, they have always traveled all over the country to get to better competition. This did not start when the Sharpshooters began, these programs and wrestlers have been doing this for years as well as many other programs that I am not well versed.
  19. A few good guesses here; however, pinning 6 - 26. How did that work for you? My math shows you only got 6 in 2 of those 4 matches. 50% I guess that is better than some of your other predictions. P.S. I am being conservative with my numbers. Good luck to both Baylor and CBHS tonight. Should be a great match.
  20. Another great prediction. Please tell us where you got your crystal ball. McCallie not only did not bump, but, Bowers went down.
  21. Durdon, you made some great picks with the following:: McCallie over CBHS ouch MBA over Ryan bigger ouch Knox Grace over MBA biggest ouch These pics were not even close. CBHS forfeits the last 2 matches and still wins comfortably. Ryan beats MBA handily and Knox Grace gets beat bad 2 x's. As it appeared, CBHS did not need McCallie to beat Baylor after all now did they? They handled their business with McCallie quite fine. With these great predictions, please tell me who you have in the Super Bowl so I will know who to bet on and win.
  22. That is great. Rabbitt has done a great job wherever he has been and I am glad to see the fruits of labor paying off with these wrestlers moving on to the next level. Congrat's to Coach Rabbitt and his former wrestlers.
  23. Sorry to hear of the passing of Coach Lauderdale's mother. Coach Lauderdale is a great man and has done so much for wrestling. Coach, you and your family are in my prayers.
  24. Would this coach have been Coach Steve Henry that did this? Coach Henry was always about doing what was right. A great man. He is missed in the wrestling circle; however, he transferred to Administration to make a bigger impact on young students lives.
