You are right, Lussier is a good defensive coach and has been one for 19+ years. We are all behind you and your team all the way...It's just many don't think that being a good defensive coach necessarily makes you a good head coach who handles the big decisions. GO CATS!

jedave, I don't want to single out a kid and say anything negative so I will just say this..Cofer is the better athlete..I don't think #62 knows what he is talking about. Cody could get the plays down if he got any reps, and lastly #3 should have stayed at receiver. He was a good one. Daryll Davidson should get more carries. Plus I must wonder why #35 is in the backfield if he gets no carries...#32 is the fastest on the team and can make plays!

ohreally, in your earlier post you said you were not going to make any more comments...and said good bye. I hope you did not mean that because your posts are insightful and always entertaining! I must disagree to those who say BL should not resign at this point. I think it WOULD be a good example for everyone. BL doesn't really like coaching..he really doesn't like people as a whole. I think it would be the most honorable thing he has done in 4 years. To those who think the coaching world will never be interested in Oak Ridge don't know squat. You are wrong. ELA, With all due respect, the administration did not actually "give" the coach another year. When the movement began toward the end of last season to end the embarrassment to Oak Ridge Football several factors must be investigated. Many players, parents, and many boosters, ready to express their disgust when they realized the athletic director and director of schools were both leaving and would not get involved [do their jobs] and if their identity were made public, they, of course, would be banished from the program by the dictator they wanted ousted. NO ONE wants to ruin the season for the players or seniors. The posts on these threads DID NOT BEAT THEM FRIDAY NIGHT. They were out coached and poorly prepared.

This will be the first game to miss since 1959. The only reason I will stay at home and listen to 1290am is for the future of the Oak Ridge Tradition. I hope to be back in 12 months when there is a coach who really cares about the players much more than his own ego.
