Ill take back my earlier post,about them not being impressive but I seen a completely diffrent team tonight than I did monday.This was the worst game ive seen from a Clay County girls tema in a long time,if not ever.They just never could get it started and the refs werent helpin neither team with the nitpicky calls.But Congrats to Westmoreland and good luck against Clarkrange,youll prolly need it.

I seen Westmoreland barely pull out a win against a very bad Pickett team the other day,and I wasnt impressed.They dont handle the ball very well and I saw really poor passing and a lack of stepping up and taking wide open shots,then taking bad shots,so I say Clay by 8.

I just fount out about all this tonite at the girls 1st round region games and i was told he was not allowed to play until november 22nd I think.Clay Countys gonna be strong either way next year,especially with 7a dropping Bailey,Wright,and isnt Meador a senior too?

The idea of Pickett tossing the game on purpose is just stupid and whoever brought it up,is worse off than the idea.Why would you lose the district championship on purpose.Cant give credit when credit is due? Clay was the underdog that everyone said was gonna lose except their loyal fans that get up and support them come tournament time.They might not be the best team in the state,but that doesnt matter.They got as much heart and play as hard as anyone else and that was seen last nite.This team can be good ,they can be scrappy,but come tournament time they get it done in the clutch.Way to go dawgs on your second in a row.Good luck in region,We will be there supportin you.

Clay's always a suprise around tourney time...even though it has been a bit of a down year for them they will still make a run for it and every game of the tournament will be as intesnse as they always are during this time of the year.Should be up for grabs between clay and the buffs.Go Dawgs.

What happend to Ramsey....and what is the damage done? Congrats to Clarkrange on a hard fought win, you stepped up and pulled out the upset.I hope he's alright, although I dont really know what happend.

Livingston I think,or from what I was told.

I am also a big Clay fan,and I am enjoying our transfers.I now Godwin is doing really well,and knight is hurt,but it seems like everyone is forgetting about Casey Ferrell.He just came in this year and has been a huge impact.Dustin Rich has really stepped his game up and has impressed me,and you have saylor stepping it up and scoring big every game too.We have alot of talent on the team,it just seems like sometimes there chemistry is off where they all justcame together this year and played.With last years team,the clay county seniors had played together all their life pretty much and this wasnt a problem at all.I think clay has a great chance to go deep and the chemistry will improve as we get further into the season and this young team plays together more.Go Dawgs.

The only game I have seen was the Monterey game and the girls looked pretty good.Megan Watson is manning the post position nicely and scoring almost at will,and Pauli is playing good as usual.The guards looked alright,but brooke needs to shoot more and I saw alot of times were the guards were wide open and wouldnt step up and take the shot.The lady dawgs can pull it out I think..They got alot goin for em this year.Go Dawgs!

The one thing they do lack is size..They have Megan Watson down low and she is filling in very nicely so maybe it wont be too much of a problem. Most of the guards are filling in very nicely and Pauli Hermann is playing great and stepping up as usual.This is a team that will make some noise when people thought that they would be down after losing last years seniors. The Clay County Lady dawgs beat Unaka tonite 70-63. I wasnt at the game but I heard a score report.Go Lady Dawgs.

Its gonna be interesting to see how Celina responds with the loss of so many talented seniors from a very good squad last year. I know they have some quick guards, especially in Walden,and if im not wrong,the last I heard the two from Jackson that transferred wasnt bad,but do they have any height? They lost their big-men in Frazier,Thompson and Stephens. If anyone knows please list it,Id like to know who all will be starting and how much depth they have. SG

The old gym in Celina and the clarkrange gym give people fits.They are both small and hot and stuffy.Both hold alot of tradition and alot of history. Ive been to both many times and it was usually the home team that got the best of the other.Both are/were great places to put alot of fear in opponets eyes,and mess with you even more because of all the long, curvy roads traveled to get there. Monterey still is awful,and how they are ranked in the state poll proves that the voters dont know what they are doing and go on records alone, unless your a powerful private school with the team thats always good every year.Monterey wont win two more games all year.

Both are mediocre teams with wins on their records because they beat even poorer teams--Should be a pretty boring game.

Ill sum it up so MOST of the people in RBS will get the picture. NO!!!

The game at Pickett was canceled because of rain the nite before and whoever told us the fiel was covered with water pretty good. SG#18

I play for CCHS and there was no chickening out. We are very tired after tournaments with 3 games in 2 days and not getting home til midnight both nights.And the other reason we didnt want to play today was because we had nobody to throw at you with us using all our experienced pitching in the tournament. We(Clay Co.)have really came alive over the past 2 days and our team chemistry has went way up and I gurantee we'll be a force to be reckoned with from here on out til the end of the season.Go Dawgs!
