The Red Raiders always seem to play Tullahoma to the end, however The cats looked good Thursday night and i have not seen any sign of CC looking like they are ready for this game. The Boys that are from life long families from CC understand what this game means but i am afraid that Coaches do not understand. So as bad as it hurts i have to say Tullahoma by 35.....I hope i am wrong... Good Luck Red Raiders....

Coffee has the most talent since the 2008 class(Coach Price last year)But was not prepared for last Friday,s game. Friday nights loss goes to the coaching staff, no way should they have been beat like that. Unless something changes Marshall wins Friday..

2006/ 2007. (Record was 11-15) 7 of those wins came against Tull, WC, Lincoln Co.* and White Co. the other 4 came against AA or A. Out of the AAA schools Tull, WC and White Co had losing records. They had a big win against Lincoln which had a record of 25-10. 2007-2008 (Record was 15-16) 6 of those wins came against Tull, WC and Lincoln all of which had losing records. All other wins came against one AA and three A. Summary of these two seasons they had 13 wins against AAA schools 12 of those were against losing records, all the rest came against smaller schools. You would have to go back before the previous coach to find where Coffee was winning against the larger schools in their District. As for the last two seasons. Coffee is going through rebuilding seasons, and as stated before it takes a few years to do so. They have a very young team. One senior that has any varsity time and allot of juniors. Next year you should see a big improvement and a very bright future beyond that. As for Muckle, you are correct he tends to yell too much and needs to try to be more positive towards the kids. Losing is hard on everybody mainly the Kids, which is what this is all about. They need someone to help build their confidence not tear it down and this is something that Muckle has always struggled with. He does know the game I promise you, if the kids will block out all the yelling and listen to what he is trying to say they will do well. Getting back to the game tonight, Coffee is playing well right now they need to continue to play hard on Def and keep their offence going with scoring from outside and inside. Good luck to the Girls tonight they deserve to end the season strong. You have ripped on softball and girls basketball, does anything make you happy? We the people that know you, know the answer is NO. ???? what ever you think???? Both teams played hard tonight good crowd on both sides. Thought Tull looked good early but Coffee kept putting Deff pressure on Tullahoma which proved to be the differents in the game. Thought Coffee had a better game plan with 5 guards. I agree with you Pearl. Let the kids play, the coaches coach, and enjoy the game. However it does take 5 to play. There have been several kids step up and contribute to the recent success. Good luck tonight CC, see you all Thursday!

I think you are wrong, if you read the rules very close it says that it has to be posted every year. It is a easy way out for the school system, there is several systems that would love to give the job to someone that appears to be qualifed.

Not trying to change the topic, but i would like to ask a different question. Can a school hire a non faculty coach? I think the answer is yes under certain situations like the coach must have 5 years experience. But the way i read it, they must re-post the position every year and if a certified Educator applies and is qualified to coach they must give it to them. I know that in Tullahoma has a few non faculty coaches and i am not trying to cause them problems, just trying to kill a rumor.

Auctually the base is $100,000 and a extra $5000.00 for every win over 25 and a $25,000.00 bonus for winning the state, which we think can happen in two years. This does not count the radio contract and a SUV that Stan will donate. Its really a good job. I just hope we bring in Coffee's x coach he did such a good job over there. I guess we are offering such a good deal is the reason they won't go ahead and name the next coach. I did hear that since Tenn got beat in the first round of the NCAA that Pat might be looking.

I did not question his morals, (he seems to be a good Man) and no I am not a digruntled parent, don't even have one in the system! Just an old educator. It's one thing for parents to talk, but it is another for a coach to be involved!!

I don't have a problem with Volunteer Paint. The Holmes' are good people. I do have a problem with children being discussed in a public store, with the local media gossip and any other customers that happen to be in the store shopping. You might think this is ok, but I would think you ,being an educator and the golf coach would not approve of this type of behavior. But since you think this is appropriate, I guess you would also think it is ok for your children to be talked about in a public place or maybe even an uneducated person teaching your class or child. Just a Tullahoma fan, Graduated early 80's. and i dont know the record of CC!
