Lincoln County cant hang with Zac Bryson. Especially this being the first home game. The house will be PACKED, cheering tullahoma on, and keeping t-towns adrenaline pumping hard. If the falcons kick to Bryson on special teams: 34-21 If they dont kick to Bryson, I say he explodes in the 4th quarter and T-town takes it 28-21

Don't see it being a sloppy game...CC has cleaned up it's act quite a bit since the first game...close only if CC plays sloppy maybe, and no the kids from Manchester rarely do anything to Tullahoma. Over the last 50 years watching this rivalry, it's usually Tullahoma kids (that aren't on the Football team). Besides I've never seen a sloppy John Olive team. Consider it only takes 2 or 3 kids to do something to a field and everyone says it "tullahoma did it" or "manchester did it" when in reality it was only a couple of kids, although i do know thats not quite the case. But hopefully this year everything will be repairable. As for the game, hopefully its not sloppy, but interceptions and fumbles and momentum swings like that make it that much more entertaining, right? Maybe it won't be sloppy, hopefully for the teams sake it wont.... but have you ever seen a John Olive team lose 52-0?

I think this game will be sloppy... but as long as its close it should be very fun to watch. I think there is no clear winner here. I'm sure the manchester kids vandalize t-towns fields as much as t-town does to them. Its good for the rivalry.

I wouldnt really say the smokies showcase was loaded with talent... I would like to second that!! I was only there for 1 day, but could count on 1 hand players with above average tools. And most of those were not the complete package, only 1 or 2 tools were above average. It was still a nice event and is a good thing for Tenn Baseball. Well, then you only saw half the kids... maybe the day you missed was an exciting day

I would just love to see an entertaining football game. One down to the wire... Obviously the players wont want that haha.

Why would farragut players need to play when its mainly a showcase to let scouts see players? Im sure Delmonico and Pfiefer are set already. and i was saying earlier that picking the team cant possibly be based on just the tryout. The coaches have to bank on players they know are good and they know can preform in games.

If a coach knows how well a player did in the season it should matter. There's no way 10 swings, 10 ground balls, a 60 time and some pop times will determine who is the best. You HAVE to look at the season to select a player. "90% is mental" which means the kids who notice little things preform better, knowing how to pitch to a batter, knowing pitcher's patterns, there are so many in game variables that should factor into who gets selected. I think it is weird that 2 coaches from the same district were on this staff, it should be more spread out and players should try to bring in their stats or something to give the coaches a more in depth look. Like someone said earlier, of the 40 or however many playes tried out, almost all were eligible according to the TRY-OUT. Look at season stats and i bet you lower the list to the 20ish man roster that you get. So if that's politics then of course the try-out will be all political.

Its useless to "rebuild" a high school team, why dont you just have a JV and not waste the seniors senior year and go for gold...again, which will be way harder in AAA, but possible Which district will they be in?

Its amazing what can happen in 2 days with baseball... I really hate how in 8AAA the regular season means nothing. As anyone can see byes don't help as much as a goal of getting 1st place and an automatic bid.
