Who won?

No excuses they won, but our 2 guards would have gave about another 20 points to our score. The only reason I am making these comments is because of them wanting to play (or even think of playing) MJ because of the games they have won. On Pigeon Forge's best night they couldn't hang with MJ, but on Pigeon Forge's best night DCA can't beat them.

Again Pigeon Forge lead the whole game except the last 4 minutes of the game where we ran out of steam using our 2nd string players for the whole game at the guard positions. Yes my daughter Brianna & Kendra Newman was out sick and if they had been playing it would have turned out different. I am not taking anything away from DCA's record, they are a good single A & Div 2 team, but if you let other teams in the state have the ability to give scholarships and invite student to go to school there, then everybody would have a different record.

You are correct. I can't see Pigeon Forge beating them either, but if Pigeon Forge had their top 2 players playing when DCA came to our house, then it woudn't went into overtime. Pigeon Forge would have had won by 10. I didn't start the thread. It says Mt. Juliet and DCA.

There is already a thread about this titled DCA. DCA wouldn't have a chance against them, in fact if the MJ coach wanted to make a statement in a game like that and play starters and pressed the whole game it would get pretty ugly.

I agree but going 20-3 and 14-0 should say a lot as well.

Almost all are AAA, but that is Okay. I would include Pigeon Forge in the top ten, they are 14-0 in their ditrict and 20-3 over all. They beat Jeff county and Greeneville in preseason scrimmages. Thanksgiving Tournament they beat Antioch and Webb. I guess you need to have a long time history of winning seasons to get noticed and for a school that is only a few years old it's hard, they just have to keep winning and not worry about the Polls.

Pigeon Forge will be at west Greene Tuesday and then South Greene come to Pigeon Forge Friday to wrap up our district play.

What district in region 1?

Wouldn't be close, MJ would wip the floor with them.

Hey Guys, I've been working in NC this week so I haven't been able to chat. This is a big night for us here in Tiger Land! If our guys win we will have knocked off the top team more than once this season, making the district seeding important. The girls game is very important. We will have to play our best and then some to beat their girls. Last year at home CD girls spanked us really bad on our home court. Enough of the girl talk, they have their own area. Allen was sick in the Clabourne game and I hope he is feeling better. We need him 100% tonight. I don't think there is another district where the teams are so close in talent and strength. Brianna Garrison at Pigeon Forge has been stepping up and playing great the last 4 games. She is not overshadowed, but has not signed yet either. OS beat AC tonight, so does this mean OS is the dominate team in Region 2 Or was this a tough 2 day run for AC?

Tigers win a big county rival over Seymour last night. Man I have to stop leaving at half time. Being down the first half I was sure they were going to loose, but Pigeon Forge has proved they can come back with fire being down and play ball. I think this will help them going into the tournaments. Now can they do it again Friday with GP coming to town?

Pigeon Forge has West Greene next Tuesday 2/1/05.

The Tigers host Seymour tonight, what do you think? Seymour is tuff and can shoot the ball well. Should be a great game.

I left the Boy's game at halftime and Pigeon Forge was down quite a bit. Wow what a come back I heard. The officials were bad. The worst thing about them was they were missing walks, carries, and oh my gosh the moving screens. Fouls well that always a judgement call, but the obvious walks and moving screens those are not judgement calls. Not blaming that on the first half performance of the Tigers, they just played weak on offense. Good win Guys keep it up.

I think the South Greene & Chuckey Doak game will be a close one, maybe even overtime. I think if Pigeon Forge is playing well it will be a close one as well. I think this is the night that just maybe Rutledge gets the road win (?) I think Cumerland Gap will win, but not by 25. I see a 4th quarter push by GP to bring it into a closer margin. But hey I've been wrong before
