When is the last time Sequoyah and Loudon played each other in football, other than in a Jamboree? It's been a while hasn't it?

AMEN.....It's time march around Jericho (Oak Grove Road) until the walls fall flat. Then hold them responsible for the decisions made that effect are children. By this I mean get out and vote next ellection for candidates that will have the best interest of our kids at heart and not just listen to small town politic. I have not posted one thing on here that I would not want my kibs to read. In fact I truely teach them to stand up for what they beleive is right. Which is what we Christian men should be all about. I'm truely concerned about the school system in Monroe County and vow to do all I can to make it better.

In 22 page I have made one post, asking about Sattersfeild as AD. I'm not getting caught up in all the antics of SK, and DR DAVE..... I'm simply giving my veiw. There is a much bigger problem here than just FOOTBALL.

I don't look at my childrens education as a laughing matter. Just look around the county at the shape our countys educational program is in and tell me if your still laughing...... if you are then you really don't have the well being of our young poeple at heart.

It takes a Central fan to put it all in perspective. Great post you OLD HORSE...... I agree totaly..... I think it will take more then just reaping the fruits of the previous staffs hard work and dedication to say that we have turn the corner or are headed in the right direction. The proving ground is just ahead for coach Satterfeild and his staff. I just hope that he is given the time and support that will be needed just to determine if we are head in any dierection at all..... So to answer the question that was ask to start this thread ......NO I'm not satisfied with this past years proformance. I feel WE as a community underacheived our potentcial, I'm afraid we will countinue to do so as long as we allow the selfish politics and agendas of a few to rule this county. We as a community made a statement this last election, and we must not soon forget that when the next election comes around just who the few were that put us in this place. It's time for the majoity to speak and if we do, it will be loud and clear. I'm not just concerned with Sequoyah Football.... but Sequoyah athletics in general. No one has asked the question as to how coach Satterfeild will do as AD, and I'm not sure that any one really cares at the home office, but i do think it is time to start make them (the folk on Oak Grove Road) accountable for the product that our school system is turning out. Does anyone know how many schools are on academic probation in this county I can assure you that it is not just Sweetwater. Did any of you happen go to the Heritage Middle School basketball game and see all the banners that are hung in thier gym that represented all the sports offerd at that school. Thier was ten or twelve different ones, from cross country... to tennis, softball... to football, WHY can we not have that here. Heck we can't even get our grass mowed to look like anything.... our schools look more like you are driving up to a prison, rather then a institution for young pepoles education, and does anyone know what a weed eater is used for???? Yes I'm rambiling but i feel that it is time for the good people of Tellico, Sweetwater, Vonore, Madisonville, and all the small communities in between stand up for this great County and hold those people accountable for the decisions made that directly effect our young people.

I think that your AD should be more involved in the LL, and if he really cares about the kibs, and is truely involved in ALL the high school sports (not just football) and wants to see them ALL be successful then he will be involved in the LL.

Any truth to ND lossing their QB. This would be huge in the East Ridge game this next week and would open the door for the Cheifs to get right back in the playoff hunt.

No, I'm not saying that we are the best 0-4 team in the state, what I'm saying is that we are 0-4 and I feel that we are better than that. Are you implying that emotions are not a part of this game? By the way, I don't have a CAP with Superman on it, but if I find my CAPE (Which by the way, it is indeed red and has a big S on it) I'll be sure to ask Satterfield to include me in the pre-game festivities. Alot of what you say in this post is true and I do deffinately agree that we showed a lack of discipline which is a direct reflection of the coaching staff. It is without a doubt that the coaching staffs responsibility to have the team ready to play and this team was by no means ready to take on the Irish. Before the game started, we didn't even run out on the field all pumped up. We just walked out on the field looking flat and not very focused. This team by no means was ready to play this game and could someone please tell me what exactly our offensive game plan was in this game?. We are running 3 totally different offenses and aren't being successful at any of the 3. It would seem to me that one should find what he does best and stick with it. This offense has no identity and until they find it we will continue to lose ballgames to average and mediocre teams.

If the Chiefs come out and pound the ball, and that defense keeps improving, I think they will handle the Irish. I thought that the coaching staff had a great game plan in the Central game. WE was in it late and thats about all we could ask for against such a talented team. The thing that impressed me the most was the heart that these boys had, to keep fighting even though we were down 28/0 and still make a game of it in the end. GOOD JOB CHIEFS. I saw Centrals 1st string on the feild all night and you beat us by only two TDs, are you saying that your better players are on the 2nd and 3rd string??? Help me, I'm confused. GREAT GAME Both Central and Chiefs

I haven't heard anyone talk about the special teams this year. Looks like we are much impoved. Rodgers, is puntting well (not real long, but has good hang time for good coverage) and the big boy doing the place kicking duties seems to have a much stronger leg than last year, and both coverage and return teams are much more solid. Good post, I agree totally, and maybe should have put my feeling more in these words on the other thread. Sorry for all the rambling over there, I think I got caught up in more than just SQ football, there is a deeper rooted problem in which I really don't need to be apart of. Sorry to anyone that I may have offended. I'm not trying to tear down this staff or team I will suport them all the way as I have in the past. Dave, sorry. It seems like everything that I post gets hung on you or Roberts. I guess we have alot of the same view points. Any response I have gotten from SK has totally ignored the facts. That leads me to wonder if he really knows anything about football. I feel like the only reason he post is to tear down certain connections to this school and team and I don't want to be a part of that. (Breading Discontentment). I do however enjoy talking about and going to the games and seeing our boys play the great game of football. I look forward to the next Game..(Central) talk to you in a thread about that later!
