  1. Maryville and Alcoa will always be great teams, mainly because they are coached by legends...Maryville has a very strong defense and that could give the Tornadoes trouble. But if Alcoa can stop Maryville's running game, who knows...but i think neither team has a better chance of winning than the other...we'll just see who executes and i want to wish both teams good luck! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. These teams have two of the greatest high school coaches i have ever seen or heard of...the atmospheres at these games are amazing, and both of the teams are very classy. I think the game depends on how well Alcoa can stop Maryville's running game, and who the Rebels put under center...Good luck to both teams next Friday!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. Not sure...but i bet its going to be a great game /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  4. Yeah that boys growing...Tallant will be back at practice this week and I expect something from him next Friday
  5. Was anyone else impressed with Taharin Tyson??? 4 TDs i believe...
  6. True but don't forget Derek Evans and Austin Tallant...they have both gotten STRONG

    Kickers?

Yeah and he already has so much talent...there will be some records broken before he has left MHS
  8. Very well said and Amen to that...Alcoa is praying for anyone associated with this incident

  10. How many of them can beat Sam Thompson off the line? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  11. No worries STARS... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Maryville by two TDs...both in the 4th quarter
  13. Thats gonna be a show /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  14. Yes sir...not really worried about this game for the Tornadoes, but i don't know...last year it got rained out, and i hear they have a new coaching staff. I don't really think the Tornadoes will have any trouble at all though. As for the Maryville-Alcoa game, I will have to save my prediction til this weekend...i wish both teams luck and hope they all have healthy seasons ending this December at state /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. Patton Robinette of Maryville has gotten HUGE...he looked really good to me, along with other MHS freshmen like Miranda, West, and Demarcus. That number 87 for William Blount was making impressive catches all over the place. Sorry i didn't get any information on the kid STARS...ill ask around and see what i can find out for you /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    Kickers?

Yes he did...i heard them saying he kicked it 67 yards
  17. Preach on brother /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    Kickers?

That Zach Sharp from Maryville sure can boot it for just being a sophomore
  19. Powell's qb is an amazing passer and ball carrier...he looked great at the Alcoa-Powell scrimmage a few weeks ago. Good Luck this season! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  20. Alcoa:49 Spring Hill:14 I have heard SH has improved since last year...so they will probably score once or twice on Alcoa's third string in the fourth quarter /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  21. Austins injury was nothing serious...a weekend of ice and he will be as good as new. I believe there were a few Rebels not on the field tonight, but Quarles will have his squad more than ready when the Halls game comes around.
  22. I know what your saying and im not trying to come off like that...cause i agree with you that if the tornadoes dont take them one at a time and let their heads get in the way, that will be the thing that beats them. As i watched the scrimmage tonight i just couldn't help but think of the Alcoa v. Maryville game this year...Every game is just as important as the next, but that game is probably impacts the teams and the communities more than any other(except for state) /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  23. Alcoa annihilated Oak Ridge tonight 28-0...the J.V. and Freshman Tornado squads even got the job done easily...after watching them tonight, i think Alcoa is set to win their 5th gold ball in a row and possibly an undefeated season /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  24. VERY impressive show...Alcoa's defense played strong and the offense executed. The tornadoes are looking very deep at RB this year, and receiver Sam Thompson and TE Tyler Robinson looked great. The Alcoa J.V. and Freshman teams were also getting the job done...This season and the ones to come are looking bright for the Alcoa Tornadoes! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
