I didn't say that at all. I think if Waverly gets beaten it makes it easier on everyone else. Columbia Academy is ok, but they were 12-0 last year when we cruised into town as well. They aren't bad, but like my 2A Poll reflects. The best teams in 2A are Waverly and Region 7. Period.

You need to just come watch all of them next season.

Waverly has a prolific offense. Yes, defensively they lost a lot from 2016. If you could beat Waverly then all of region 7 would be appreciative. One of them could go to Cookeville then.

What happened to the Kilby kid? He still out from the injury several weeks ago? I think Coalfield is still the team to beat in the east. As I have said many times, there is no substitute for all that senior experience and Coalfield is loaded with it.

LMBO, you are right. Going 10-0 can be skewed some time. I remember Sunbright going 10-0 one season and losing to Lookout Valley in the first round. SP has only turned the trick 4 times in the past 40 years. This year will be the 5th time, but also the least talented out of all of those other teams. Our teams in 98,99,2007,2008 at SP that went 10-0 were scary good. If we had one of those teams now that we have 6 classes. SMH it would be UGLY.

I don't know about it. 1A has 1 great team, about 6 more good teams, and the rest are average or below average.

Maybe so, but my poll is just who I think are the 10 best teams regardless of what region. I have a hard time putting a bad team in a top 10 poll just because of where they are located. 2A is like 1A. It's hard to find 10 good teams. Just my opinion on it.

A couple of things. That 2015 SP team was not very good at all. I believe CA will make it to the quarterfinals this season, but they aren't going to beat Waverly.

No sir, not this year. Coach Webb does a great job, but they might barely be top 20 this season.

I believe this is the closest poll. Region 7 has 5 of the best teams in the state.

These 5 teams are all top 10 teams in my opinion. Waverly is the only reason why this region might not play for another state title.

Yes, we have problems like everyone else. The biggest of which is our town leadership and police department at the moment. They can't seem to keep anyone in the position.

Absolutely not.. Coalfield will throw for 200 plus on them and run for about the same.

Greenback lost to Grace Christian in Knoxville. Once again, I think SP, Greenback, and Coalfield are pretty close with Whitwell right behind.

I don't think Tyner is great. Regardless, the 2A champion is coming from the west and it will be a comfortable win in Cookeville.
