These guys don't have a clue patriot about Marsalis. Just because he doesn't go to a prestigious private school or play for a big metro area school they think its just hype or homers talking him up.

Did you really compare Hardin Co.'s offense to Henry Co.'s? If you think Brighton will see the same type of offense as Hardin Co's this week you are badly mistaken. They might be a good offensive team but the Patriots are faster and more dominant. If they come to Patriot Stadium thinking like you, all they will see is the backs of #3,#34, & #40's jerseys on the way to the endzone!

How can you say he doesn't compare, I can't even find Jefferson on Rivals anywhere. I'm not saying the kid can't play because he can. However, he doesn't have the speed(4.4) or arm Marsalis does and I'm not sure the moves either. You don't have to make a move when nobody can catch you. Also, Marsalis carries a 4.0 and has offers from Vandy,Stanford, & Duke to go along with the SEC & ACC power programs!

They won't have a chance to get bored!

Marsalis Teague @ Henry Co. is the best dual athlete in the state.

Sometime juniors don't make it on rivals or other sites until their senior year. I'm not sure why but I have noticed it before with other talented players.

Of course they have more discipline probelms because there are more kids. You can't say per student there are more problems though. Every school has those problems in this day and age. When they consolidated the middle schools in Henry Co. everyone made the same arguments. Years later though people have realized these new facilities like Lakewood and Harrelson have made for greater academic and athletic opportunities. I see both sides but Henry Co. has volleyball,track & field, soccer etc. The football and basketball programs have three teams each with a 9th grade, JV, and Varsity.

I think Carroll Co. & Weakley Co. should consolidate into one high school per county. Henry Co. did it over 30 years ago and it has worked out fine for them. Also, can you guy imagine the rivalries between the tri-county high schools that would create. I know not many people would be for it because it would take away their school. However, it is still fun to think about.
