Notre Dame will be in the Semi Finals and get handled pretty good by Alcoa.

I am very glad the players got to 7 wins this year as opposed to the 3 wins from last year. There are a lot of good football players on Sequatchie's team. As far as the coaching goes, that's another thing. Barney Fife could have won 7 games with this years schedule. Sequatchie lost three games in which they could have won. The staff panicked every time the game was on the line. We had more key delay of games than I have ever seen from a Sequatchie team and still haven't figured out how to put pressure on a QB. After the comments I heard from the coach heading into halftime of the Upperman game, I sure hope his stay in Sequatchie has been very brief. If the man thinks he is too good to be at Sequatchie, don't let the door hit you in the rear on the way out. The players and community deserve better. Good luck to the seniors. I have enjoyed watching them since little league.

I agree. Except for Notre Dame. Not sure how East Ridge beat them the first time.

All that matters is wins and losses. Our region went 1-3. Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

Upperman cannot play with this Notre Dame team.

Hate to say I told you so but I told you so. Very very weak region this year. I believe it's the easiest schedule Sequatchie has ever played. I'm just glad these seniors got to experience the playoffs.

Two worst regions in 3A. There were some very bad teams in each region. Good thing is we don't have to see another region until the semis.

IMO this is Region 4's only chance for a win. Forrest should handle Bledsoe. After that Marion will beat up on Forrest pretty good.

Smart play by the Irish getting the game moved. Turf definitely plays to their advantage.

Lets be honest. Our region is pretty dang weak too.

Upperman 35-20.

I see CCS winning this one. I will say the score will be somewhere around 34-28.

The Owls won't beat East Ridge. East Ridge defense will be the best they have seen all year. I believe our region goes 1-3 against the Chattanooga teams. With Upperman getting the only win. DeKalb game should be close.

Notre Dame by 14-21. Sequatchie has a very good run D and tough running back. Notre Dame defense and speed on offense will be the difference.

Upperman wins 19-14

That's not entirely true. Don't get me wrong, #7 is a good running back that runs hard, but SP and Warren both handled our offense pretty well. Outside of a decent Smith defense, Sequatchie has went against some of the worst defenses I have seen in this new region, especially against the run. I have seen Upperman and I believe they will have the best defense we have seen in the region. We will not be able to just pound between the tackles. I am sure they will make us throw the ball. The key will be can our defense handle the spread offense of Upperman. We struggled against DeKalb's spread. Hopefully we will put some pressure on the QB instead of sitting back all night and letting them pick us apart. Our two LB's don't play well in space. They need to be putting pressure on the QB. I am going to predict 27-14 Upperman. Hopefully I am wrong.

I just felt sorry for them last night. No fan support. Not very well coached or prepared. Running an offense which is getting their freshmen QB beat to death. In three years they may win 3-4 games. They were much better the past three years.

There is nothing worse than making excuses on losses. This stuff goes both ways. It's in the eye of the beholder. Sequatchie was outplayed that night. Plain and simple.
