At first glance, I thought you meant offense continued to hold... Because they did, all night long. Officiating was horrible all the way around. This Oakland team has a lot of talent, but one of the worst disciplined teams I've seen in a long time. Unless that changes, I don't see them beating Blackman.

I don't frequent these boards, but every time I get on I am amazed at the lack of support that people who call themselves "fans" show. MJpride, you either need to change your username or support your team. I am sick of hearing how you think MJ's defense is terrible. They stopped a very good offensive team TWICE on the 1 yardline to get the W last night, that shows that they are fighters and they DO NOT QUIT... what else can you ask out of 16 and 17 year olds, who I also might add probably read the junk you put on here thinking it is coming from someone who supports them. They are 12-0, yet you still don't give them any credit???? You are not a fan and you do not have MJ pride. In other news, congrats, MJ, on a great win last night! Good luck in round 3!!! You do have fans out there that are proud of you and rooting for you 100% of the way!

And what about Centennial 2-8, LaVergne 2-8, Ravenwood 3-7... three of Smyrna's opponents. I'm not saying Smyrna doesn't deserve to be where they are or that they aren't capable of great things, I'm just saying Mt. Juliet is sitting right where they need to be with even their "own" saying it isn't possible, in not so many words.

MJPride, before you start getting so defensive you might want to make sure that NoWayOut4 was indeed replying to you. I believe he was replying to a comment made by justonemoyard, who by the way, I think we are all tired of. You may want to retract your statement. NoWayOut4 - couldn't have agreed with your statement more... except for the Oakland fan part... I'm pulling for all the middle TN schools tonight!

It didn't take long for you to get off the "Perry" kool aide. It is difficult for players and coaches to improve throughout the season when you basically can sleep walk through through your schedule and be 8-2. They played three teams that finished with a 1-9 record. 2 teams with a 3-7 record. One team with a 4-6 record. When McGavock and Hendersonville are your best wins of the regular season, YOU are a joke. Shouldn't coaches be more concerned with a team getting better and less concerned with career win/loss record. Everybody knows that Portland, Station Camp, Lebanon, and Wilson Central are not going to be very good. SO why not go out and schedule a quality opponent or two? Better yet, play the same schedule you have now, just don't pay $10,000 total for two teams, a 1-9 Whites Creek and a 3-7 Kenwood (and we all know how good Clarksville football is) to come to your place. I want to reply, but you really don't deserve the time, so I'll just say I feel really sorry for you that you have so much contemptment and jealousy for the Mt. Juliet program... it really is too bad.
