  1. I don't think that any of the faculty painted the field. Something gives me a feeling that it was a third school that payed both Franklin and Indy a visit.
  2. Good game, Rebels. Good to see them play solid against what has become a pretty big and hated rival. I'm sorry that the band was playing while that player was down. The fans can't control that. But, I will agree their was a lack of class shown on the part of the Indy student section when Jimmy was down. Ford did his thing just like everyone knew he would coming off of his injury. Lee did the exact same. Kuivinan showed a few good spurts last night. I truly think that he is gaining maturity on the field. At least, I sure hope so.
  3. Franklin took care of Hillsboro easily. Don't have any question that Brentwood will do the same. As much as I would like not to see that happen.
  4. well wilco. im glad you're up to date on your football recruiting magizine. because our d-line grabs about 90% of the letters a week all from d1 schools. im talkin notre dame, ut, georgia and alabama. we have a line of stud juniors and all state senior. with their skills they will dominate the Franky o-line. thanks for your input though. next time i will consult you before i post something. Now, I have heard some ignorant statements on here before, but this is easily in the top 5. Run over the o-line? Just like they did to Columbia, right? Indy should have lost that game last week. They played like garbage the whole second half.
  5. The Rebels haven't done too much to impress me. But, I feel that they can win against Indy.
  6. I just got done posting about how Columbia has done well every year that they have dropped a division.
  7. Columbia does this every year that they go down a division. They are playing well this year, but they are one of those teams that is right on the line between 5A and 6A. I remember back in 2002 when they dropped to 4A they went 10-0 then lost in the second playoff game if I am remembering correctly. They always play well the year they drop a division. I still think that Columbia will take this one in a close game by 3-7 points. Indy has done nothing to impress me this year.
  8. Dye played pretty well for having to fill in a big role.
  9. Do you understand how an average works at all? He runs for 2 yards one play and 18 the next will come out to be a 10 yard average. So, in fact he makes one long run and it brings his average up. Ravenwood hasn't showed much offense at all in any of their games this season. Franklin should stop them pretty easily.
  10. Both teams always know how to get a crowd to show up no matter the weather. Franklin's defense should be able to contain the Ravenwood offense. Franklin by 2 tds.
  11. What does Spring Hill have this year? Belew is a senior at Columbia, correct? Is one of the Tates playing qb? I believe the older one graduated last year if I am remembering correctly.
  12. I think I've almost got the Wilco guys figured out. Some kids from Indy is my guess. But of course, they would never come out and tell us.
  13. Columbia should take a big win in this heated rivalry. They have been playing solid football all season. Don't know too much about Spring Hill this year.
  14. I'd say if the Owls come out and play well on defense. Then the offense will take care of it's self.
  15. Couldn't have put it better myself. Except for the part about Ford. He has been playing both sides of the ball for the first time this year. I'm wondering if that might have a little something to do with it.
  16. I can't even get on here anymore without getting mad at you and your two little friends.
  17. Great game by the Rebels. I was a little upset that the punt got called back that Gorman took to the house. He deserved that one. But, we all saw the block wasn't clean.
  18. Go Rebels! Hope they can jump back from a pretty big loss last week. I believe they can.
  19. So what? This is football! The road trips/tailgating are almost as good as having a home game. I wish like hades that this game wasnt on a friday so I could make the trip down there, but best wishes to the Rebels, I hope they one-up Oakland on the margin on victory from last year Maybe for you Oakland folks it is football and travelling, but it's hard to tailgate when we will get off work and travel and just get there in time for kickoff. Sorry, but we are going into the eastern time zone so it will be tough to tailgate. Also, some of our tailgating parents are not going because their son is not getting to go to the game. Anyways back to the game. Tough one to call, but I got to go with the Rebels in a close one 24-21. I'd dare say there will be some Franklin faithfuls out there Friday afternoon. We can always bring a crowd.
  20. I love watching games at Howard Gamble Stadium in Franklin. It's always packed. Once the stands get filled fans and students stand on the track around the two endzones and watch. Makes for great excitement when a TD is score right there is front of you.
  21. I really don't think that Ravenwood has much of anything this year. They seemed dead, and nearly gave up that loss to Hillsboro last week. I would like to see Page come out on top in this one.
