  1. Bet Butchie knows. Pretty sure he visited C-11 for that game.
  2. What local college has best program?
  3. Word is Cascade's line looked pretty pathetic also. I think our paper said their Star back, Henderson, had negative yardage. Poor line play may be a wash and that would give you guys the advantage with #44 carrying the ball. I'm gonna pick JB by two TD's.
  4. Trust me. I know how the selections are made.
  5. Not to mention the crappy job he did of making all-region picks last year.
  6. District 9A is also pretty solid this year. Forrest, MTCS, Community, Cascade, Van Buren, Eagleville can hang with most as a group. Not a totally dominant team in the bunch, but very solid as a whole.
  7. I don't know what game you were watching regarding the officiating. It was terrible in both games. The gray headed officials weren't too bad, but the dark-headed one was absolutely terrible! 44 was right. I don't know that he aided either team a lot (probably Cascade more so than Community) but he was one of the worse I've seen.
  8. Dang, talk about Man Crushes...You really like this Butchie fella don't ya?
  9. Several of us Community Fans plan to be there for the third straight week. I'll have to disagree with the consensus here though. We saw an offensive juggernaut last Friday. I've never seen an offense that potent and I'm no spring chicken. As soon as you get one kid shut down, Cascade will throw something else at you. They have about 8 different weapons to get the ball to and each of them is equally dangerous. It'll be interesting to see what the Devils have to counter with. I'll take the Champions in this one.
  10. I agree. You'd have a tough time finding a better 1A player than this kid. His numbers won't measure up to some of the other QB's but they are still very impressive. You have to gauge a QB, by his importance to his team. Cascade would in all likelihood be hovering around the 500 mark without this kid. They've had several close games this season and having a senior leader of this caliber has them undefeated and sitting at number six in the state. That in itself should be worth consideration.
  11. Jacob Cowell from Community has numbers that will match up with almost everyone in the region. He may not get much press due to the poor season we are having.
  12. Josh Molder of Cascade is pretty solid over in region 5. He had a good game against us and was mentioned in the local paper last week.
  13. Thanks 4 the support C11. Not many people givin us a chance this year. No one at Community is ready to thro in the towel and I think we have a shot in this 1. We play a hard-nosed brand of football much like Mcewen so it should be a real slugfest. If you guys play lights out like last week, I don't see anyone beating you this year. Offense was really sharp, pass defense very impressive and special teams were some of the best we've seen. Good luck to you guys Friday.
