That's not true... I'm entertained by the fact that some of the milan fans(not the sensible ones) are already making excuses for why they aren't going to win the gold ball this year. Don't you guys have a game against a very good camden team this week?

I completely understand where you're coming from , I've seen williamson play several times this year and he definitely is a special player. I in no way intended to sound like I was undermining his accomplishments.

I knew you had seen them in person against maryville. I myself am hoping to make the trip east to watch them play sometime before the championship, from what I have seen though, I totally agree from your assesment

I've been riding the manassas train for about 3 years actually, even when my team was destroying them. Nothing I've posted about them has been incorrect yet and if you feel like my assesment of alcoa is incorrect then why don't you ask gcpioneer who has also seen alcoa this year.

While I agree williamson MAYBE should've been on the list, I do not understand why milan fans are already making excuses about alcoa being open zone? I've watched film of alcoa several times and I can tell you right now that they would most likely dominant even without the few out of zone players on the roster

Please excuse bigredtiger, not all west tennessee football fans act the same way he does, in the past he's been one of those fans who shows up after wins and disappears after losses. Bigredtiger, middle and east tennessee football is consistently better than west tennessee football. That's just the hard truth. Look at championship games the last few years and it tells all.

Manassas wins this one. Too much athleticism and speed at every position. Westview hasn't seen a player like OC Brown

Trinity is down at the guard spot this year, but I think having post players like Haley Elliot and Taylor Essenburg will compensate. This is a trinity team that was a few points away from getting a shot at going to state last year, having someone at the helm like coach north never hurts either lol. In my opinion, middleton and tca are the top two teams , assuming that middleton is as loaded as usual.

Having seen both teams play, I personally feel this game could go either way. I think milan has a definite edge on defense while crockett may have a few more weapons offensively. I like crocketts running attack, but they'll definitely be challenged this week with milans linebacker play. I think it'll be close to the end, but ill play devils advocate and take crockett by 7.

I'm going to have to agree with gcpioneer. MUS just executes on a level that's unheard of in highschool football.

The intention of my post wasn't intended to be an attack on coaches and I hope it doesn't come across that way. I think the coaches do a great job and even though I disagree with play calling occasionally, that's why I'm up in the stands and not on the sideline lol. I do however feel like a lack of support for the team has taken its toll. At the beginning of the year when attendence was high and support was strong, I felt like it had an effect on how we were playing in a positive way.

So how many posters on here went to the dyersburg players and were actually told that they "intended" to hurt Christian Coleman? None of you, remember that the kids on the dyersburg side who were involved in the play in which he was injured are only 16-18 year olds too. Being from Brownsville, I got to watch Coach Stowe teams play for a number of years. Not once did I ever see anyone playing like a "thug", nor do I feel like he would instruct kids to injure another player. I haven't seen the tape so I can't make any assumptions outside of this, but let's just be thankful that this injury wasn't career ending and Coleman has a bright future ahead.

Have to say I was a little surprised friday too. I haven't seen a tca team just roll over like that in a long time. I'm disappointed in how things are going simply because we know how good this team is and what they're capable of. However things have seemed to spiral down hill since a close loss to adamsville. I'm not going to blame it on coaching or players because I feel like were just burnt out because of such a difficult schedule. On that note, I feel like we have nothing to hang our heads about but things have to change if we are ever going to live up to our potential.

Crockett county fans and posters: don't try to argue that you can compete with milan. Its a battle you won't win. If you in any way disagree with them about how good they are or how bad they can beat you then they basically go crazy. Pretty much no one is allowed to believe that they stand a chance against milan. While a majority of milan posters don't feel this way and would agree that crockett will provide a great test, there are quite a few who for whatever reason like to undermine the accomplishments of other teams. Milan has a great team this year and so does crockett and I can't wait to see them go head to head in what will be one of the best matchups this year period!

Well jcs has kept up with milan so its not like they're invincible... I said they deserved their ranking but I feel like manassas should get some respect

I watched film of the jcs-milan game and I watched manassas play trinity and film of a few other games. Milan definitely deserves to be highly ranked but I think manassas could keep up. Manassas in my opinion deserves to be ranked in the 8-10 range. They have a HUGE line and as mentioned before, one of the best individual linemen in the state in oc brown. They execute much better than in years past and they have multiple backs that could probably play for anyone. I honestly believe that when the playoffs roll around they'll surprise a lot of people

I've seen manassas and milan play and I can honestly say that manassas could compete with anyone here in the west

I have seen crockett play once this year against haywood and I realise that doesn't tell much but I can promise everyone that if you count crockett out against milan or anyone else for that matter you are in for some kind of surprise. They have multiple backs that they can throw at you, several of which are bruisers that can wear down your defensive front fast! Milans linebacker play will be truly challenged in that game! It should be one of the most exciting games of the year

I think this game will be closer than many expect but if we play like we did against adamsville its gonna be a long night
