But the coach of the year is Coach McDaniel at Oakland, he has taken a team that was bad and has them playing in the state. You boy, Boeck will be watching from the stands. Sorry.

Ensworth is a good team to play, but Dekalb is only good every once in the blue moon, and shelbyville has been down. Lets go back playing some of the boro teams or at least just play four and five a teams, or five and six a teams. If you are going to go alot lower than your class schedule the tougher teams from that class. Warren needs to do something so they can win that first round game, playing those easy win teams with not help them get over that hump. Ensworth would be a great team to play every year, but Coach Madewell thought that was going to be an easy game when he put them on the schedule two years ago.

How about bringing Coach Cotten up to work with the Freshmen team? I really believe he will be an outstanding coach at the high school level, good friends with some of his family.

I agree with you pioneerfan54, if you can have a freshmen team so they do not have to practice with the varsity that would benefit any school. With a school that has 1800 students walking the halls there should be enough players to do that and even have a jv team that practices together. I believe the coaches have done a good job with the athletes they have playing. My question do the coaches get out in the hall ways and try to recruit player to come out?

I would like to see the Pioneers take this one but I see the Pioneers putting the ball on the ground. If the offense can limit the mistakes and control the clock, it will be a close game. The teams the Pioneers play these last few years will never compare to the teams they played ten years ago. Pioneers region teams were the Riverdale's, Oakland's, Lebanon's, Gallatin's, Hendersonville's, you get my point. I am proud of what they have done the last few years but if you want to win that first round game and make it further into the playoffs you are going to have tougher non-region games.

Riverdale has to many athletes not to be playing for a state championship every year. Everybody has there down year but Riverdale down years are getting beat in the first round. I believe that has happen the last two year and now they are not even going. Something has to be done, because I hate not seeing the Warriors in the playoffs.

First, Coach Reynolds is a great guy. Boyd is a great time, and #30 great ball player. For Sequatchie County, I thought the defense was in position to make plays. An early post talk about the DBS, yes they got killed in the first half but they were right there to make plays all they had to do is get there head around and go up for the ball. Maybe they are just poorly coach. Also for SC defense they cannot be on the field the entire game, the offense was three and out all night. When these guys are out there all the time there is going to be some mentally break downs across the board. The Indians will get it work out and be ready for Marion.
