i saw kyle stoney in the state championship game last year. i was surprised when i barely recognized him this year when i saw him playing football for the fighting irish. kyle has bulked up and i am not sure how this will affect him on the soccer field this spring. he could be the next max jarrell, a beast on the field, or a flop if it slows him down

looks like ryan's got a young team. only three seniors starting? where did everyone go? the younguns looked good last night though hopefully they can step it up this year

you dont sit out the biggest tournament of the year if you can wrestle. cole hayes circumstances were alot worse than hookers. doing physical activity with mono can be fatal. hooker on the other hand had the flu, and he felt well enough to wrestle. making it to the state finals and being one point a way from a championship is a all you can ask from him being sick. he wrestled to help his team out, he gained valuable points for his team

haha wow. ya that was "appaling" and "inhuman". im glad the irish got under your skin because you deserve it. this is wrestling people not girls ballet. and yeah lets kick the two best teams out of the state tournament. lets give the other teams a chance next year. that would sure raise attendance note the sarcasm...

this makes things very interesting at the state tournament. looks like its gonna be a close one between baylor, father ryan, and christian brothers. i am excited to watch this unfold

i assure you that marchetti did not choose what weight class he wanted to wrestle at state. marchetti is a team first man and does whats best for the team. marchetti did not choose to go 160 for selfish reasons, like some have stated before, he just listened to coach simpson who has coached more state champions than many coaches will ever dream of

i heard cole hayes was out with an injury. yet everyone still picks him to win...

we all have our opinions. and he wasnt running. its called smart wrestling. its what you do when you wrestle someone who is more experienced and better than you. you wrestle smart, keep it close, and dont make mistakes. i know many people who predicited this match to be a short one and they turned out to be wrong. thats all im saying

alright wreslter so my predictions werent correct. brian murphey came very close to beating mark, a lot closer than you predicted. last time i checked it took mark 3 periods to beat murphy! yea! so it was closer than you thought and if theres a next time brian could come out on top. and as for the jarrel prediciton. it was just for fun trying to make things interesting. thats what all upset predictions are about. dont let your emotions get out of hand wrestler

the father ryan faculty this year seems like it has no school spirit. so it will be interesting to see how much they ruin the atmosphere of the match tonight by not allowing any cheers. i wont be surprised if the cheers are limited to hip hip hooray like at the father ryan vs mba basketball game. both schools and parents (cough cough ensworth) obviously have forgotten what its like to be a kid cheering on your team. in a rivalry match like this it is crucial to the wrestlers that their homecrowd be loud and obnoxious to the other team. that is all part of high school sports. i wish that more parents and faculty would realize this. im sure both student sections tonight will be itching to yell back forth jabs at each other. i hope it will be allowed
