  1. Sounds like you get to watch a great one as well. I'll be keeping an eye on SGC/Milan. Good luck to the Hornets, I hope you can get out with the dub.
  2. Apparently nobody gives Ripley a chance in this game if all the talk has degenerated into next season's schedules. I'll move along!
  3. Looks like you nailed it. Congratulations to Ripley.
  4. I have to take the team with the better ground game. Give me Lexington in double OT.
  5. Great season SGC. That Milan D is just too strong.
  6. We shall see. Haywood is absolutely capable of blowing anyone out. I think all the down time will hurt the Tomcats against an explosive offense like Dyersburg's. I'm also factoring in Dyersburg will not back down or be intimidated as some teams do and are against Haywood. Good luck to both teams. Hope it's injury free and as exciting as I expect!
  7. Good assessment. If Ripley can put a complete game together on both sides of the ball, look out. The Tigers have come a long way over the last couple of years no doubt about it. I heard the other day this is the first home playoff game for Ripley in a lot of years. I'm sure they will be stoked. Should be a great atmosphere and competitive game.
  8. I believe they are capable of doing that. I also expect a shootout. Especially if Haywood turns the ball over and gets a bunch bonehead penalties.
  9. I've seen both teams play. I'm going to go with Dyersburg. I just have that feeling.
  10. I think a cork is going to pop at 7:00 tonight and some serious venom is going to spew out. Milan will probably owe Martin an apology after the game.
  11. CONGRATULATIONS to the Tide. 10-0 again. Now go get that 3 peat!
  12. I'm surprised there is not more intrest in this thread. Lots of playoff implications involved with this game. So here's a BUMP!
  13. From what I hear he is. I didn't know until a few days ago Ripley had really beat him up in that barn burner a couple of weeks ago. He played most of the game hobbled.
  14. Even with all the drama, Milan is the much better team. Westview is about to get a full dose.
  15. If, and it's a big if, it comes out Milan is guilty of some egregious violation what will happen? The thought of those kids having to vacate the wins, miss the playoffs, and lose all the work they put in is nauseating. The bigger question is will any truly guilty parties get a free pass from the people of Milan and the school board. I guess time will tell.
  16. You left out the part about Peabody smacking Milan in the mouth again. That's my favorite!
  17. I don't think this will happen. I look for Dyersburg, Covington, or Ripley to play up. At minimum one of them, maybe all three.
