Sydney Roach is the best player in single A. But number 5 will give her all she can handle tomorrow night.

If she is very good Hope Scantland will be in her shirt and if she does get in the middle she will have to shoot over Makinzie. It should be fun to watch.

Yes livingston is one of our biggest rivals and we are one of their biggest supporters. We wouldn't be where we are without great competition to make us better.

Yes the whole bench wasn't allwed to stand during the game. Our coach has been coaching for 17 years and we have been to the tournament 10 times and he says he has never seen that called.

No they didnt split around the floor but they did get close to the other team. The main problem was the other team came out first and they were supposed to come out second so our team didn't really know where to go. So the other team should have got a technical for coming out of the dressing room in the wrong order if they were gonna give our team a technical for coming out in 2 lines. The main thing is a these are young girls playing at a new arena why would you make a call like that in a game of this importance. I would be ashamed if i was the referee.

I agree. The most redicolous call they made was the technical foul on Jackson county before the game even started. That was about a 4 point difference that Jackson county never really recovered from. Our coach wasn't even allowed to stand up and coach during the game. That referee should be ashamed to make a call that could influence a game before the kids have even taken the court. The call is redicolous. The call was made because our girls came out in two lines instead of one single file line. We have done that every game for years.

Yeah. Pickett county in about every game they played this year.

It bothers me when all the other schools are more excited than Jackson County's. We have a lot of support but not a lot of excitement. I'm not sure but I don't think there is even a pep bus going to the tournament. I guess that is just a by product of going to the state tournament 10 of the last 13 years.

It is a shame there is no stat for defense. Hope held Sydney Roach to 4 points and held Lacey in check all night. She has consistently guarded the best players in the state night after night. Her fans recognize this.

What region / district do we play in the substate?

Any time you play top quality competiton your points are not gonna be as high as the person playing nobody and scoring 30. Duh.

You must just be an average fan or you would have seen that was a compliment.

Hope Scantland from Jackson County held Kayla Biles to I think 11 points and Makinzee Sells to 4 points this year. The average fan don't understand that the level of competition you play should be a huge factor in the selection for this award.

Were you at the pickett jackson game. Pickett couldn't even score against them. It was 20 to nothing. They didn't score until some subs came in off the bench. I don't see how they could beat red boiling springs.

I wasn't at the clay county game but if JC played anything like they did in Montery they deserved to loose. For 20 games they had the best teamwork I have seen in a long time and all of a sudden at the end of the year they have became ball hogs trying to score individual points. Hensley wouldn't have helped them because the whole montery game they ran down the court trying to score and left her at the other end so there was nobody to rebound their missed shots. They barely beat montery. I hope that coach brown can wake them up.

Livingston and Jackson County may or may not be the best programs in the state. But they are hands down the classiest. No matter which team wins no one gets on here and bad mouths the other. If you beat us we will shake your hand and come back better the next game. And we expect the same from you. You will not see that anywhere else from anybody I gurantee. Class acts. I hope both are in the state tournament.

Undefeated no. There is one problem at JC. No seniors and only 2 juniors means lack of depth. Nobody has been able to touch the starting 5. It was really no contest when they were in there. But everytime a substitution was made Clarkrange would make it a ballgame again. Then everytime the starting 5 were out there they would pull away easily. That spells trouble somewhere down the road. Just not sure where. But its early. Depth may come.

Kayla was single teamed all night and held at bay by Hope Scantland. With the size in the middle and scoring like that from freshman Coe. The teamwork is better than it has been in a while at JC.

You should have went. There were some good basketball games there.

I would like to see how many championship teams they have compared to the others as well. The competition you play day in and day out definately has an impact on the votes.

The referees always stink when Pickett county plays. I think it has something to do with their coach crying and hollering and stareing them down the whole game. I agree no class.

Every game I see Pickett County play it's the same old song. The coach whining and crying and staring down the referees. No wonder they always call techincal fouls when they play. It a shame the girls on pickett county are talented and man they hustle. But the coach seems more intrested in influencing the referees to get a win than coaching his team.

I think JC is the better team. And I think Emily Bowman was the difference in the last game. The only question I have is how healthy is Emily. Even without a healthy Emily, I think our shots will fall this game and the score will reflect it.
