I don't think coach Badon is embarrassed by your support for a second. I think anyone from Dickson wrestling will always feel as passionate about the program as you. He doesn't toot his or the programs own horn and would feel uncomfortable about reading somone else doing so. But thats his thing not yours. I have no doubt he appreciates your and everyone elses support. Keep on screamin at the top of your lungs if that is how you do it. God bless and stay safe.

With outside influences impacting college wrestling I think NCWA will continue to grow. By making wrestling independent from colleges it can’t be impacted by anything other than itself. It does require each program be self sustaining without support from the school itself.

So because he is from a school with limited resources he shouldn't be ranked? Thats kind of elitist to say. The people doing the rankings probably saw him wrestle and also probably saw him wrestle last spring and summer. He takes advantage of all possable opportunities. Did you? Maybe you shouldn't be ranked.

Good Answer.... I would say with the hard work your putting in and how NCWA is developing you could rival King or Cumberland in the near future.

I seriously doubt it happened like that. No one said anything of the sort at the tournament. My son had some very physical matches with Roberts this summer with nothing resembling punches. Roberts has always handled himself without losing his cool. There is a big difference between being physical and flagrant misconduct. Don’t get on a board and sully a young man’s name unless you saw it with your own eyes. Although if you did I’d think you may need glasses.

I don't think cheating on the hydration is very common. Seems like a stupid thing to cheat on. My son failed it as a Freshman and Sophmore, multiple times. He didn't think once about cheating. Maybe you should think about hanging around a better class of people. You seem to want to start controversy about anything and everything.

Please keep Coach Hambrick and his family in your prayers. He had a stroke earlier this week and is currently in Skyline Medical. Mic said he has a blockage and in tough shape but is now able to talk a little. For those that don't know him, Paul has been a long time coach in middle Tennessee. Influencing hundreds of youth and mentoring several coaches including my brother. Most of you know his son Mickey or Mic who is the coach of Creekwood HS and a frequent to Coacht.

It had a better turnout than I've seen at most of the other Tennessee off season tournaments. There were some great matches with a good showing of top notch wrestlers. It was a little warm in the gym but not to bad and really it didn't matter. The brackets were full and made for a challenging tournament. It was a good day of wrestling and most importantly for a good cause. To see everyone come together to support Jacob's family and to celebrate his life is really moving and was something special to be part of. You could tell every wrestler knew why they were there and it showed in every match. I hope it helped Mic, his wife and Creekwood. They help the youth in there community so much. It is imposable to put into words how I feel about their loss. I'm glad coach Woods and Bo Bradshaw were able to let us all do something for them especially when it seems there is nothing you can do or say.

The Jacob Jordan Memorial tournament is that weekend. I think most of the Tennessee wrestlers will be going.

Cougar130 Hope all is well in Iraq. Your Dickson boys looked good today. They went 4 for 5 first round and Greg and Rakim are still in the winners bracket. Hunter is also. Take care of yourself.

Hunter got a really tough draw. He has Biggs the previous #2 now #3 in the 2nd round. If he passes that he then has Colbert the #1. Ruff row to hoe but I beleive in him.

I'm very tough on refs but at the same time I truely appreciate the job they do. I've done it and even though I think of myself as knowledgable I was not very good. It's not easy. It's amazing what you can't see from 4 feet away that you can at 30 feet. We have a huge lack of refs and would truely appreciate any of you to help out and put on some stripes. I'm thankful for any of the refs we have, even though I may not always agree with them.

Here are the results for the Dickson Tournament. As far as the comments of afan. The tournament was seeded based on the previous years results and what information Tommy had about each team this year. Which is only first hand knowledge and what information is fed to him by the teams coming. He doesn’t get on coacht that's why I post results for him at times. If you look at the pools they were evenly divided based on that information. I haven't talked to him about your recent post but I was there last year and saw how it was put together. The top eight teams were split up and the remaining teams were put in randomly. That is how he has done it in the past and I assume is the way he did it this year. No I don't think he would make it harder for himself. I think there are a lot of people that think very highly of him. Tommy is a man of great character. Rigging a tournament is a far stretch for most to think accurate. Knowing him, I don't think he could stand himself for something like that. You've accused him of stacking the deck and getting a "fake biting call". I'm guessing you think he influenced that call. The biting call that was questionable was between Rossview and Mt.Vernon. You shouldn't mislead people. If it wasn't for that call Mt. Vernon would have been in the finals. The ref said he saw a bite, there weren't any marks and the Mt. Vernon kid said he wasn't bit. The ref kept his call because he believed his eyes and not the evidence. That was his decision and I'm sure wasn't influenced by Tommy as you implied. There was a biting call in the match between Dickson and Rossview, an actual bite. Maybe it was karma coming around. The only team that should feel robbed was Mt. Vernon. They had a good team for having graduated 11 starters although they were team state placers in Indiana. If it wasn't for the biting call they probably would have won the tournament. I'm guessing from your posts there is some sort of bad blood between Rossview and Dickson. Believe me its rather one sided. You keep hating Dickson, Dickson has nothing but love for you.
