It is a good looking list....Willard deserves first team consideration but along side Nunnelly and Walker what can you say...And Denayer going through Riverdale and Beech as a freshman to get the Trojans the title was amazing...Going to be a fun couple of years ahead for Chatt area softball.

According to the TFP, Grundy won 4-2. Looks like Grundy scored 2 in the top of the 9th to win...And they pitched out of bases loaded 1 out in the bottom of the 8th...must have been a quite a game.

Barking about an alphabet soup tournament in Georgia where most of the 14A's played up...Your girls are one of the top teams in the south. It would be nice to hear about y'all beating The Prance Vipers or Strother's Impact...otherwise...

Looks pretty good though I would think Baylor is better than Chatt Central from what I have seen so far. You should give Hixson an also receiving votes for getting their first win last night...a shut out too.

They will struggle this year but will be much stronger next year...some transfers did not gain eligibility.

I am sure Central will have something to say about that but the rest of 6AA is looking a little weak.

That other blonde is Nikki Waters who went to Southern Ill before transferring home to UTC...She has had a bit of a rough start but unless she is hurt, she will get better.

The fastest one up there is listed at 3.25 at last years Scenic City 16s....

In reference to up and coming pitchers, I will throw out two: 1. Sydney Hooper, Freshman., Walker Valley 2. Lydia Ritchie, Freshman., Bledsoe County 3rdbasecoach how can you say that this ritchie girl is one of the best in the state I have seen her pitch in some summer ball tourn. she is at best average she is good when she goes against a below average team like her coach puts her up against But when she starts to play at the High School level she will get rocked when she starts going against 16,17 and 18 year old girls I have news for her coach back your defense up to the fences so they can get a better look at the ball as it goes over the fence If you could read, you would see in this thread where someone was asking about up and coming pitchers...and really, it is unseemly to call out a 14 YO kid anonymously on a message board...especially one who is one of the better young pitchers around here.

Wicks.... Check out ASA A Southern Nationals in Ridgedale, MS...Two berths are available for 2011 Nationals and carry with you if you are moving up to 16U. It is the same week as Moline and qualifying should be as simple as playing in TN qualifiers then getting the okay from the TN ASA JO commissioner...

Soddy will be back with a vengenance next spring. East Hamilton will be an interesting case. Lots of travel ball players in the zoned area and there are rumors of lots of kids leaving the area private schools for the new school because of the economy and dollars. The Hurricanes will start off young but could become very good very quickly...
