  1. Camden's QB can fly. If Creek Wood can contain him I think they will come out on top.
  2. Dood, You Must Be A Camden Homer And Have Not Seen A CREEKWOOD RED HAWK Performance.......Well Guess What Good Buddy We Will Be Arriving In Your Neck Of The Woods About Oct.23............Be Prepared For A Humbling Night Cause You Have Not Seen A Team Like We Will Be Bringing......Be One Of The TOUGHEST TEAMS YOU ALL HAVE PLAYED ALL YEAR........GUARANTEE IT!!!!!! O I did see Creekwood play against Henry County in a scrimmage and yall were big and slow. That's why HC put that pop knot on your heads. Hope yall found some speed during the season, cause frankly, yall haven't faced anyone as fast as Camden and who you got to block Jordan Murphy when he is living in your backfield? What you gonna do when you can't run the ball? NO ONE has run on Camden except Huntingdon and they used 9 blockers to lead the Tail Back. Oh yeah, we held them to 200 yards where they averaged 450 per game. And they scored only 13 on two short field opportunities. All you middle and east Tennessee teams give no respect to the west tennessee teams. West tennessee teams are the only teams that give the Glorified Alcoa teams a challenge. They cut through all the others like a hot knife through butter. And frankly yall are no Alcoa so I think all this lipservice via messages might get your boys a extra special dose of butt kicking on the 23rd. Hoping yall don't have any injuries, sickness, etc. so there won't be any excuse after what you will receive that night at Wright Field. And by the way, the word is Dude not DOOD! The only team that gives Alcoa a challenge is Milan. And there is more talk coming from the Camden side than the Creek Wood side. Creek Wood's offense does not run the ball like some of the other teams Camden has faced. Creek Wood will bring a different kind of run game in which very few people have found a way to stop.
  3. Could you please explain how sycamore showed everyone how to beat Creek Wood. I was at the game and didn't see anything that showed how to stop Creek Wood. Unless you are talking about the bad field conditions or the fact that our punt snapper hurt his shoulder causing his snaps to sail over the punter's head. Or maybe your talking about the way Creek Wood came out flat. Those were the only reasons Sycamore was in the game. The only touchdown they scored because of the offense was the long touchdown by the quarterback. The other two were assisted by bad snaps one which was taken in for a touchdown and another which set the offense up on the 4 yard line. If you saw something else please let us know.
  4. Creek Wood is definitely not looking past any of their opponents. their most important game of the season is next week. The Sycamore game is Senior Night. Do you think this senior class wants to risk losing this game. They know Sycamore is better than they were in the preseason, but so is Creek Wood. Each game Creek Wood plays is of equal importance to the coaches and players. they will not overlook any of their opponents. Only the people talking on here are looking to the Camden game. Not the players or the coaches.
  5. Don't be surprised if Creek Wood get's handed their second loss of the season due to inferior coaching. CreekWood has the better players but IMO they haven't gotten any better since the Syc scrimage. Should be fun Inferior coaching? you don't have a record of 5-1 and have inferior coaching. You don't take a team from 1-9 record last year to a 5-1 start this year with upsets over Fairview and Greenbrier. Inferior coaching? i think not. I will be very suprised if Creek Wood loses this game. I'm not sure Creek Wood is the team you have to be wondering about whether or not they have gotten better since the scrimmage.
  6. What are you smoking? I also was at that game and from my side of the field, Huntingdon did not physically push Camden's defense around. If they had, Huntingdon would not have been limited to 52 carries for 207 yards (3.98 yards a carry). Kennon Holder had half the carries and 115 yards. Thompson ran for 55 yards on 20 carries. Idk about you but i consider 207 yards rushing a pretty good night. I'm sure if Huntingdon had a more threatening passing game that number would have been larger. If a rusher has 4 yards a carry that is pretty good and Huntingdon was just .02 under that according to NavyChief. Basically Camden knew Huntingdon was going to line up and run the ball between the tackles and Huntingdon was still able to gain 207 yards rushing that's pretty good.
  7. HAHAHA!?!? Naw player...naw they aint neither... I suppose you think Page is then????? Creek Wood is not much different than the likes of Page, Giles, & Spring Hill. Now don't be putting words in my mouth. I didn't say anything about Page, Giles, or Spring Hill
  8. Creek Wood is very strong this year and i don't see them losing another game in the regular season. Camden could provide good competition but i saw their game last week against Huntingdon in which Huntingdon physically pushed Camden's defense around. Creek Wood is bigger than Huntingdon and their offense is a lot harder to read than Huntingdon's. Creek Wood will win that game by what some people might call a suprising margin. I'm not saying Creek Wood will win big just bigger than most people might expect. They have the potential to surprise some people. I believe they are good enough to compete with the likes of Whites Creek and Maplewood.
  9. wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a close team. Montgomery Central is much improved and if Camden looks past them it could be close especially after the game last week. Montgomery Central is clearly not as talented as Camden but could provide a little competition for Camden if they look past them. But I don't see that happening. I think Camden's coaches will have their players focused on Central and will win by 3 or more scores.
  10. I see Creek Wood winning this one they are too well coached and have too much talent to lose. Unless Stewart gets a late touchdown i don't see them scoring at all. Creek Wood's defense still looking for their first shut out and will continue to play well in this one. With Bell back, Creek Wood's offense has one more threat to stop and will just be too much for Stewart.
  11. allamerican37, I'm not sure how you determined that Creek Wood has played some weak teams. as ondeck said they have a combined record of 10-5. And three of the teams made the playoffs last year. And how do they not earn wins now they still have to go out and work hard everyday to win. the teams in the old region 5-3A are not very strong as only four of them have winning records this year and probably two of those teams with winning records will have losing records by the end of the year. of the teams that were consistently at the top of that region only two have winning records this year (Giles and Creek Wood). As for Clarksville, Station Camp, and Rossview they were never in region 5-3A. And i do not see Creek Wood beating a team by 40 points especially not Harpeth. You have obviously made your post to stir stuff up and make people mad as you said. Next time you make a post like this get your facts straight.
  12. This has the potential to be a good game. I'm interested in seeing how Harpeth is going to try to stop Creek Wood's offense. Coach Beaubien really has the defense playing at a high level and i'm sure they will continue to play at that level.
  13. Creek Wood all but embarassed fairview @ fairview. Creek Wood's defense shut the yellow jackets down. Kimo Odom was dragging the defense all over the field literally. Fairview tried every trick in the book and could never get anything going. Creek Wood won 27-6 with fairview getting a cheap touchdown at the end of the game.
  14. FYI this is not a tournament to find a winner it is a chance for kids to get looked at by college coaches without the pressure of winning a tournament. Take a look a the website. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  15. Creek Wood's defense had 5 or 6 turnovers in the scrimmage. this was a surprise to me. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. If you are going to consider the fury and cruisers as favorites you have to throw in the TN Force as well. The Force was up 1 to 0 in the first game against the Fury '94 when the umpire's strike zone just disappeared. The pitcher for the Force could not get a strike call and walked three batters in a row for the first time in her career. The pitcher was the Freshman from Creek Wood who held Goodpasture to two runs one being a Cartwright homer. this pitcher just doesn't walk three in a row. She was having a very good game up until that point. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. Beech's coach should have said "The more talented team did not win." Clearly Beech was more talented, but riverdale was the better team in the championship. Also Beech was clearly outcoached by Breeden and his staff. How do you hold a team scoreless one game then allow 13 combined in the most meaningful games? Breeden also saw a weakness in Beech's hitting, going from allowing 6 runs to only allowing 3 combined runs in the finally. Clearly coaching is the main reason for Riverdale's victory and Beech's defeat. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  18. What i was saying is if you don't let Cartwright beat you and you put up two or more runs Goodpasture won't win. As you saw Unicoi accomplished this and won two out of three games against Goodpasture. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> You were very confident in your team, which is a good thing but even you knew this team can't win if Cartwright doesn't play her best. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  19. I have seen them play and they played very well. Their pitching does not dominate but relys on a defense that doesn't make mistakes which is not a problem and a good pitcher could easily work her way through that line-up other than Cartwright. The rest of the batters might put up one run on a solid team like Unicoi, but if you take Kelsey Cartwright out of that dugout Goodpasture is not the same team and in my opinion does not compete for state. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  20. yes the third baseman can be difficult to get out but a good coach could easily spot a weakness in her. They have an very strong defense that rarely makes mistakes which makes it where the pitching does not have to dominate. Without Kelsey this team does not compete for state this year. She is the main reason this team is good. She makes them better not only because she is extremely talented but she is a great leader and knows what to do in any situation. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  21. This game does not surprise me one bit. Goodpasture was vulnerable to a good hitting team. I noticed that when my team played them. We just didn't have the hitting. Goodpasture does not have shutdown pitching and has to rely on defense which has not been a problem for them. If you can keep Cartwright from beating you and have a pitcher that hits her spots the rest of the line-up is not going to beat a good team. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. Very good player. Best player? Possibly. playing on a team with below average talent sure makes you stand out. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  23. Just to let everyone know the scoreboard is wrong and the above score is correct.
  24. Glad to know Harpeth was showing support to /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
