  1. Just saw the score. Congrats to Rockwood. I thought they might do it finally in Chattanooga. Since I was at work and just saw the score I would be curious to hear the thoughts of those in attendance. Was this a big upset or did the best team win?
  2. Believe this will be Rockwood's year. 28-25 Final.

  4. Now that the season has been completed, who should be named all state in AAA? There are a lot of deserving players this year. Here is a just a few possible names, in no certain order or position. I'm sure I've left out several deserving players, especially from Middle and West Tennesee, so please add suggestions. Andrew Kenneson-Science Hill Caleb Lucas-Maryville Ryan Odum-Hendersonville Andres Munoz-Ooltewah John David Anthony-Riverdale Sergei Wallace-Tennessee High Tim Baker-Knox Catholic Miles Christian-Bradley Central TJ Carter-Science Hill Dalton Guzman-Hardin Valley Seth Gulier-Riverdale Sean McLain-Ooltewah Brent Lesnick-Collierville Daniel Martinez-John Overton Wilfred Williams-Science Hill Bijan Gloston-Clarksville
  5. You never know with that blind draw.......... Although, CCS and ND must be on the opposite side of the bracket....just like Brentwood and Ravenwood....TSSAA rule when they are from the same district Good luck to all of the teams.
  6. Congratulations to CCS. State Champions. Well done.
  7. Congratulations to Hardin Valley. AAA State Champions.
  8. According to a Chattanooga news article, a freshman keeper played and did very well. Looks like Notre Dame will be set in the keeper department for the next three years. I understand from speaking with a friend in Chattanooga that they have several returning players next year, as does East Hamilton. Article
  9. Predicted Quarterfinal winners in BOLD.
  10. Alcoa Dad: Like your picks except I think East Hamilton and CCS will win.
  11. Another heavyweight fell tonight. Brentwood is out. Hendersonville may go back to back.
  12. Hardin Valley, Dobyns Bennett, Riverdale, Blackmun, Hendersonville, Brentwood, White Station, Houston
  13. Predicted winners in BOLD. Comments?
  14. Saw Notre Dame play in Knoxville this year. They have a good team. This should be an interesting matchup.
  15. Incredibly, three of the top teams in AAA have been eliminated before the District finals (Bearden, Maryville and Siegel). Will one of the remaining heavyweights in AAA win it all, or is this the year a new team wins it all? Will it be: Hendersonville Brentwood Hardin Valley Riverdale Houston White Station Someone else? Any predictions?
  16. Congrats to Farragut. Does anyone know if they play Catholic or Maryville?
  17. I have watched a lot of games this spring and the quality of referees in East TN seems to have taken a sharp nose dive. There seems to be a lot of younger refs who do a very marginal job. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?
