First of all, congrats to Kingston. Second of all, I wonder where the "Kingston Krazies" came from... Let's see... I once saw a Duke game... Nah, it must be a Kingston thing. How original! ACCARP

I think no team has a real advantage with recent big wins. OS is comming off a win over rival Harriman as is Loudon over LC. However, it seems that OS has trouble with games on the road so my advantage goes to Loudon for now until OS can prove otherwise. Loudon by 9. ACCARP

Well, to make it quick, for OS it went like this. Dj Giles turned it on early for Os on offense. He kept pounding it inside and Harriman had trouble stopping him. Harriman on offense was ice cold early. At one point, Os led by 21. in the 2nd half, #22 Price got hot and hit several threes in a row to, at one point, bring Harriman within 9. However, late in the 3rd and into the 4th quarter, Harriman's D could not completely stop the OS offense. Both teams kept trading baskets and eventually OS pulled out of reach as time dwindled. That is about all I guess. ACCARP

Well, I was told by a player that OS has trouble winning at Harriman and Harriman has trouble winning at OS. I have no idea how accurate this statement is, but I guess we'll see tonight. If OS is prepared mentally and emotionally, they could win by 10. However, the same thing goes for Harriman. For OS, it comes down to a few factors. One, someone has to establish themselves as a leader on offense. Two, the defense has to play good as a whole. Three, the Student Section must be loud and rowdy. If all those things are there, Os will have a good night. ACCARP

Do you think its right to beat a team by 40,50...

I beliieve that if you are winning by 40-50 and still have your starters in, that is too much. However, if you have the 2nd and third team in and are still scoring, then you are doing nothing wrong. you can't just stop playing because the other team can't score. ACCARP -
Tonight at OS, Lenoir City will travel down for a little district play. I want to know who everyone thinks will win and why. ACCARP

I really also believe that OS should be in the top 10. I realize that a few others have harder schedules, but even so, OS has traded wins with LA this season and only has 2 losses. ACCARP

In my opinion, Laura Hall is good, but I don't know about the best. However, I haven't seen enough good opposition to know othrwise. ACCARP

To me, when explicite language or body language is used, your gone. ACCARP

With the exception of AE and Fulton, there are a few teams that should be, as always, a good challange. You have Trousdale County, Smith County, an always improving Sequoyah team. Of course there are others, these just stick out in my mind. ACCARP

Brentwood Academy??? How about the winning team from the Tennessee High School All-Star game.!? ACCARP

Alcoa is definitly a threat. However, if Hunnington is as good next year as they were in this year's State Championship, no one will beat them. ACCARP

I understand why they wouldn't be, but I was wandering why Oak Ridge wasn't in the top 10 in the state. They played Riverdale to the last seconds and if not for a few mistakes, would have beaten them. ACCARP

Basically, from what I saw/heard, he got blocked and knocked to the ground so he got up and started throwing punches. I know this kid is a good athlete, but it also sounds like he is a punk. ACCARP

Hey Goose, do you know when the all region, and for that matter, all county will come out? Or, if it is already out, do you know where I could find it? ACCARP

Congrats to BBS on their impressive victory over DCA. I can't speak for all of us, but you had support from the land of OS. Anyway, enjoy the trophy and the championship. ACCARP

Once again, Congrats to Hunnington. However, I wouldn't trash DL too much. Your win was impressive, but DL is there every year. And after what happened to them Friday, they have that much reason to want to get better. I am not trying to take anything away from the win, I just say you all should have a little respect. Anyway, congrats again. ACCARP

Congradulations to G-town on their impressive victory over Riverdale. I saw Riverdale a couple of weeks ago and although I was not happy with the outccome of the game, I knew they were a deserving, high quality ball club. They have a lot of talented people and a lot of experience in these situations and you all still were able to play your best for the win. Anyway congrats to Germantown again on their state champioship. ACCARP

I am not sure about the privates, but as far as the one through five a is concerned- Hunninton looked the best. I am not saying that they could beat any and all teams in the state; but they manhandled a very good Lipscomb team, they had a running back who set a new state championship record for yards in the game(315), and they forced like 7 turnovers... or some number like that. Congradulations to Hillsboro on the impressive victory. Even without a key player you all still were good enough to take home the trophy. I sortof feel, however, that it would have been a beter game had it been a Hillsboro/Maryville matchup. But it doesn't matter because they fell in the 4th round. Anyway, congras and enjoy! ACCARP

Let me be the first to say i was dead wrong about Huntingdon. Wow! The Bell kid is amazing, but to be honest, Hunt's line was dominating on both sides of the ball. Line play is what decided this game. Any running back worth anything would have dominated behind that great line. That #19 looks like he may be a stud too. Congrats on what looks like to be a state championship tonight. I admit I was wrong. What an impressive showing. 9yearoldchamps, you were dead right on this one. I dont know how they even lost a single game this year.

When does region 2-2a come out? ACCARP

Sorry but Hillsboro wins this one by double didgets. I know M west has accomplished a lot by getting here, but they are not better than Hillsboro. In fact, I think that if they played Maryville again that Maryville would beat them by 17. I'm not taking anything away from M-West, they beat a good team, but 8 times out of 10 they would have lost. However, the only game that matters was played last Friday and West won so congrats. Anyway, back to the subject. Hillsboro has too much deapth/experience for West. They were here last year and should have won. That means this year they will be even more hungary. ACCARP

Ok Crazygal let me make this clear, I am not from OR, nor do I really care when OR wins or loses. All I'm saying is it seems like a bone head call when you have a good line, 2 stud runningbacks, and 26 seconds to work with. This is when you need to work the sidelines. Imagine... The wing-t formation. Booker to one side and Guilemire on the other with the fullback in his typical spot. Booker goes in motion hard and the QB fakes the give to him; then, he gives the ball to Guilemire going towards the short side of the field with the fullback, and 2 guards pulling. you also probably have the reciever cracking back on an unsuspecting LB. With this, Guilemire can head towards the sideline and will either score or will get 2 or 3 yards and will be run out of bounds with 20 seconds left. I know that the coaches have to make the best decision based on the circumstances at hand, but I just feel like some teams do not prepare enough for certain types of situations... like 30 seconds left, inside the 5 yard line and 0 time outs. As far as the fans go, for the weather, I thought they did ok. Both teams taunt so I don't want to hear anything about that. Anyway, out for now... ACCARP

De La Salle is the best team, as fas as high school football, in America. Not only would they beat any team in Tennessee, but their second and third teams would beat about 75% of the Tennessee teams. I am just speaking off of what I have seen and the talent/deapth they have. There is NO way they can be underrated when they play the countries best week in and week out. ACCARP
