  1. The UTM job will NOT be open this year........this is nothing but a rumor. Tara Tansil-Gentry is the head coach at UTM right now and will be next year.
  2. Only 2 seniors are Amber Nanney and BB Brooks. Brooks didn't play due to a broken leg suffered in December.
  3. I might want to borrow your sweater for our trip to Mitchell...........that thing was sharp! I thought you guys had them last night in the midst of that run. I do have a question.......what did the lady at the table do to get removed last night?
  4. I don't think he is in the inner circle but he is campaigning for a place in the "entourage"......... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  5. Thanks sls......somehow the girls managed to get it done against a very good North Side team. North Side did a good job tonight, Cobb and Hill are good players. I didn't see you there.
  6. The girls final is scheduled for Wednesday night........no chance North Side is made to forfeit. I'm speculating here but as long as they go to school on Tuesday, I would think they would be allowed to play.
  7. Northside over Covington in the final..........DC/NS game will be the best of the tournament.
  8. naaaaaayyyyyyyyy........naaaaaayyyyyyyyyy. this horse is dead. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  9. pukebag please......... /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  10. It is actually been withdrawn.........its the dreaded NL (no-line). Glad to see greenfieldfan acknowledge that all of this is in good fun..........unlike those folks from other parts of 13AA..... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> On Bradford's chances against Clarkrange.......i hope they get the chance to play, it would be a great game, but Bradford would be the underdog I think.
  11. I've never read the boys board before.........and now i know why......... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  12. Can't we just all get along............ /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. I can't believe you brought that out...........it stings almost as bad as hearing those famous words....."he shoots..........HE SCORES!" /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> "...all the gold....in California is in a wagon in the JC hills in good ole' buddy's name.........."
  14. You always spill the good stuff, you've just ruined my suprise............ /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  15. Amen brother........can't wait to see Shannon with our group this summer. It's gonna be alot of fun. By the way, I'm still waiting for my Cocke County t-shirt that mom owes me....... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  16. I think we can agree that there is enough local talent to compete in the OVC, but please stop comparing NCAA Division 1 to NAIA. They play on different playing fields. When Coach Campbell comes in and offers to pay for your school for 5 years guaranteed (which is allowed in NAIA) that is hard to refuse. Coach Tansil can't do that (NCAA only allows 1 year scholarships). It's not a level playing field. Union can go to a foreign country and pluck a 6'5" post player with little problem getting her eligible. Coach Tansil can't do that. It is unfair to UTM to continuously compare them to Union or any other NAIA institution. I don't expect you to understand this. I hope I am alive to see the day UTM is able to put together a winning womens basketball program because if they do, watch out...........it could be the flagship of the UTM athletic department.
  17. First thing is it's vendetta......and for the record, do you know they weren't recruited......no you don't. If fact, I know UTM recruited Dudley, Roney, Poston, Cupples (who signed). You're upset that they didn't recruit Hudson and I don't blame you for that, they should have. They have made their mistakes at UTM, believe me, I know. Secondly, Union has 7 out of 13 kids from Tennessee, UTM has 5 out of 10.......seems pretty similar to me. I do know something about math, you know. Oh, and I guess Kenya and Sudan is closer than Florida and Illlnois........ When UTM signed Mark Hardy in mens basketball back in the late 80's, did it help attendance? Nope. Would Union attract large crowds if they weren't winning, nope. Winning my friend is what attracts folks to the stands, as evidenced by the UT-Martin football program. My point is, we are losing with as many local girls as Union has so obviously your statement saying "we can lose with local girls and I'll be there" is not being truthful and there must be another reason you don't support UTM. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  18. I didn't mention a particular school for any of them, but I am so sick and tired of you and your anti-utm sentiment. Are you upset because someone didn't ask your kid to play there or something? Your own hometown girl is the head coach there so I really don't understand your anti-utm spin on everything. Coach Campbell is a wonderful coach and human being and he runs an exceptional NAIA program at Union. As I said, no disrespect to Union what so ever, but they are legitimate Division 1 prospects.
  19. Rechis, Fussell and Butler are all Division 1 talent......no disrespect for Union, but they are bigger than that. Each does exactly what their coach asks of them, which is 3 completely different things. Butler is a true point guard, the best one to come out of 13AA is a long time. Rechis is the best pure shooter district 13AA has seen in several years and Fussell can do more off the dribble and create more offensively for herself than anyone that I can remember is recent years. That being said, I'm just happy to be able to watch all of them get to play and hopefully all of them will go on to play Division 1 college basketball. Enjoy this fans because this is the best run of major talent 13aa has had since I have followed high school basketball. Still missing WesCharge......... /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  20. He actually did get out of the straight jacket........for a while.......as the story goes he was doing alot better until last year when once again he began to ramble on about wizards and sorceresses. Back in the straight jacket he went and apparently, he is still unfit for release. Last I heard they were having to keep him heavily medicated.......
  21. Great game last night......I just hate that my good buddy, Mr. WesCharge, wasn't there to see it. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Rest in peace big guy, we miss you in Martin.
  22. The recognition for these ladies is great......congrats. That being said, anytime you see any rankings (these or Rick Bolus or anyone's) understand that these are kids they have seen or heard about through various sources. The fact that they don't have some of the best players in the state on this list is enough for me to realize they are flawed somewhat.
  23. Having one kid transfer does not make us the district with "high profile transfers".........you must be confused. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> We are not in District 7A or whatever district shelbyville and riverdale are in......... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  24. This horse is on its last breath.........lets move on. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  25. That's a shocker........ /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
