ok, so a few things have changed since was last on here a year and a half ago. thanks.
  3. they finally got rid of brown, nothing against brown personally but coaching wise the program was flat at best through his career. wilson sounds like a legitimate coach having success at south pitt, and at heritage against the likes of maryville. he is a defensive genious if nothing else. anyway, what does cleveland have coming back for 05? they have a slighty newer region with white county and walker valley moving up, and no east ridge. to me that doesn't seem to make things any tougher. i can guess cleveland will hold teams on the defensive side of the ball, but do they have any dante hickey's, cobb's, stefon woods, fields's on the ofensive side of the ball? and what about any corn fed boys? seems as if last time i looked cleveland high players look more and more a lot like middle schoolers in a size perspective. anybody know anything?

    LAVONTE BARBER

what ever happened to lavonte barber? i know he went to UTC but ive not heard an ounce about him since. i know UTC had another bad year this past season, and with all the hype barber brought (3 star rivals recruit) you would figure he would at least stick out on a team that does as horrable as UTC, even if was just freshman. just wondering if anybody knows anything. im thinking he should have just gone to south carolina, that summers kid wouldnt even be in his way and he would be playing for spurrier.

  6. for all of yall saying stop little plain and simple, im confused how yur gonna do that, the cat is averaging 30 plus a game, u think riverdale, ooltewah and the others didnt have the same game plan? cleveland does have a strong supporting cast, but they r very young, goldston is gonna be good, and barber is a smart player. with cleveland losing cooper and still starting out 4 and 0, thats unreal, not to mention davis on the bench, you dont start out 4 and 0 against anyone losing 4 out of 5 starters as well as 80% of your offense from the year before and not have any support, thats just not possible. they have some of the best young gaurds in the area this year, who will be great scorers by the end of the year, but for now their job is to give the assist to the big man, by the way charles has added a bit of skill to his arsenal, all of yall people relying on last years performances are about as tasty old milk, spilt. cleveland should take care of business in the chatt area this year except for bc, they are atleast 15 points better than cleveland and anyone else in this area if not the state.
  7. they are probably going by his 9 week report of this semester, i dont think last year can have anything to do with this year, the only other reason would be coach green may have highger grade standards for his players than coach brown.
  8. philster, when did hixson put a scare on yall??
  9. for everyone who gets confused, and there are many of you, there is no bradley COUNTY high school, there is however bradley CENTRAL high school. theres also a bradley COUNTY school board, but thats about it. i know its not a big deal, but the sign infront of the school says CENTRAL, not COUNTY. Bradley is not a small little county anymore, therefore we get the right to name our schools beyond given names to bumble counties, cleveland the city in itself is bigger than every county other than hamilton and mcminn in this area. we dont call mcminn central mcminn county, given there is also a mcminn county, its getting bigger also, and another name for that school will be coming soon. as for the topic, i like yur rankings, they are accurate to me, i think anyone who has bradley number 1, along with mcminn, rhea, ooltewah, east ridge, and cleveland in there somewhere, is accurate.
  10. u know i go fer cleveland, but im first to admit bradley will win state this year and go undefeated, cleveland had a small chance of upseting them this year, but that was before they lost cooper, bradley returns all of their starters from a state runner up team in the biggest class. with hare and pickel, i have lost the other guys name who i thought was effective last year and was just a sophomore. he also played football. what was his name? anyone who says bradley is overrated, has got to be the most ignorant person in the world, also i agree about little being a one way player, to the rim, but not this year, if my sources are correct, ive heard a few things about him picking up and studyin some new books for school (the school of basketball), shooting the j 101, learning to pass, and a few others. he should be atleast 3d this year, and with the loss of cooper, cleveland will need every dimension he can give them. remember little, hes only a junior, if he does well this year he may make some national noise.

    collierville

i guess its the parents decision then to begin to put pressure on the principal, and work from there. its a shame.

    collierville

thats all awful, and i have also noticed germantown, with all of its gated communities, which outnumber the many trailerparks in the rest of tennessee.any more responses, and could the boosters for this school ever get involved enough, and maybe take some pride in their sports, possibly get some football experience at the coaching postions??

    collierville

is collierville the richest city in tennessee?, i havent seen a more ritzy place in side the borders of tennessee, cops enforce speed limit there like someone just got murdered, and walmart has a sign that can legally only float about 5 feet into the air, the poorest neighborhood there has houses for around 200 grand, and they are only around 1100 square feet, all of this said you would think high school sports would produce more atheletes with great funding and kids that typically would be more disciplined (i suppose thats a stereotype, in todays world), not to mention the close proximity to memphis, they could recruit in some ballers. maybe its only a matter of time, anyone have some additional commentary.?
  14. whiskers you dont know what yur talking about, clevelands players got happy after the game, but they also knew some of rheas players personally (and were good friends), thats why they went over there, not the smartest thing in the world to do, but they werent trying to start anything, everything was started the whole game on the field. i think a lot of people think the penalty wasnt harsh enough simply because there is now still a good chance they will have to face cleveland. i know that if was thier team they would be the same way i am about this, while a couple people made a mistake that shouldnt ban the whole team from the playoffs, and like xander was sayin, this isnt routine for cleveland football. while im not sure i agree with the whole probation thing, it really can be a good thing for the program, coaches will simply have to instill more discipline, whether its neccessary or not, some of the best athletic programs are the best for that reason. instead of focusing on being cocky, players can concentrate on winning.
  15. if i could only remember the exact words of those strawberry plains folks last year, everyone was thinking about a possible upset, or that it would atleast be close, what was the final score, cleveland 52 carter 14. while it could be either of those, you guys r throwin yurselves in a whole of stupidity for thinkin that way.
  16. pepvol, my setiments exactly, i think the offenseive line has been under ahcieving and inconsistant, stephens needs to go, and of course sanders needs to go. i do like fulmer though, and i believe like you said if clausen didnt get sacked so bad, and had some timely recievers, they would be undefeated, although the fumbles and interceptions hes made rest squarley on his shoulders. i wouldnt mind getting clausen the third, but im not sure the second is made of much different than the first.
  17. Lavonte Barber Jay Davis from cleveland
  18. ok what they did was wrong, they got punished, meritus, im sure you have never lost yur cool, or ever done anything wrong, the entire program at the schools are on probation, i think everyone was critical of this situation pre-decision, now that action has been taken, you guys need to do a little growing up of your own and learn one of lives many virtues, forgive, oh ya and of course forget.
  19. good post rollredroll, and z that was what i thought i was hearing, third clausen might be the charm.
  20. purple, i wasnt gettin mad, not this time lol. i just couldnt make sense of all the jumbled mess you put together to make a post, i dont know maybe you forgot a word or two or something.
  21. goldeneagle11 let us know who they are when you find out.
  22. hotsauce, they got drilled by mcminn, it wasnt even close, not to mention mccallie was playin cbhs, and one of floridas better schools, as for tyner, i think if they played every year against the super 7, they might get more of a feel for them, i do recognize the facts you pulled out, but it would help if they did have a little more consistant competiton week in week out, tellico plains just aint MBA. playing mccallie one week and then some scrub from 2A the next makes for a long roller coaster of a season.
  23. cleveland played horrible may i remind you, and if you could have won, you would, cleveland just ran the ball down your throats and shut yall down in the 4th, proving a proven winner over an infant one.
