I feel that it is Wilson Central's to lose this year. Hate to admit it being from mj but gotta give it to 'em. I think the district will be down a bit this year from the past 2-3 years but a lot of people have left. As for mj, new coach and 1 returning starter is gonna be tough, but i saw them play saturday and they got beat by ravenwood and riverdale but played both tough, and beat what seemed to be a decent mcgavock team. It's central's to lose, but from 2-7 its wide open Bigcheif--how ya veen?

i dunno--i think it will be a good game but the lady bears are still very young--i got faith in em though--the guys tema has been workin with em a little bit tryin to simulate the pressure a little bit and maybe itll help em out a little bit--guess we'll see thursday-GO BEARS!!

Look guys, i hate to have to burst your bubble, but luck had nothing to do with Mt Juliet beating Lavergne the other night. Mt Juliet had to play at Lavergne's home court, with Lavergne's home crowd, and might I add HORRIBLE officiating. Why couldnt it be Mt Juliet is just the better team and played with more heart and talent? Face it, luck wasn't even on our side (Their leading 3 point shooter fouled out of the game by a ridiculous technical foul call by a disgrace of a referee.) So don't sit here on your high horse and say Mt Juliet won only because of luck, because i was at the game and I didnt see any luck for them....I just saw true ball-players who showed who has more heart and soul and who wanted to win that darn game.

well actually central is 2-4 in the district and the standings as of today would be 1)h-ville 2)lavergne 3)smyrna 4)mt juliet---beat beech and gallatin so have the head to head 5)gallatin 6)beech 7)central 8)white house hope this helps some

another mj-smayrna one we all know that swader looks like the rapper jay-z (and yes swader can play) but recently at our game our fans (mj) had the "can i get a what what" song playing along with "h to the izzo" which was pretty funny i thought

It sounds like your a dearing fan and cannot except that mj is progressing without one of the best players in the area. Being 3-0 against avg. teams after winning all but 5 games last year and without helton. We are better than avg. Lavergne wins 2 weak games and they get ranked. What are your credentials to rank teams? If those 2 kids from kenwood are superstars like you say then, them two alone should beat an AVG. team.

i agree that kenwood struggled last night but they didnt get it in the post because we didnt allow them to--we made them beat us from the outside because we knew of their faulty guard play

ive played against warren county and seen the "frb" up close and personnal and i must say--not bad--but the best??? no!!--ill tell you why--no originality come see "the pit" at mt. juliet and then see what ya think---i think it would be a good head-to-head match-up the frb vs. the pit the line--the pit +3 1/2

i dont even know what district we are----pretty sad ehh??---but hendersonville won our district at country hills--they shot 300, beech was in second w/ 305 and lavergne in 3rd with a 327??? blake lannom was low with a 71, and the other low 4 were 2 from beech and 2 more from h'ville---the scores were 73 74 74 76

well answerking---"coach"--whatever your called now---i had totally repected everything you had said until now---why do you care where im located?? what difference does it make to you--and yes ive been in mj's school zone all year so next time know what your talkin about before you make your comments---and the funny thing is you keep denying who you are--but heres the funny thing---only the people on our team and "coach" knew my location--and the other funny thing is if you rep 405 2 times and you only max twice a year----i distinctly remember my old "coach" saying something about only maxing twice and i remember my old "coach" being fully capable of doing 405 twice--as i said i respected what you have been saying but trying to start things where there is nothing is the last thing i expected out of my old "coac" i mean out of answerking

for real answerking---lighten up--all i was askin for was opinions--i made this thread for a reason other than talking trash on the computer(which is highly professional by the way)-and youve turned it into a trash talk fest--i could care less about your job or any job at mapco or whatever the heck you do but i was askin about mj basketball---and i also highly suggest before you go talk trash about how nobody really competes in summer ball---do some research about some of the camps we went to and tell me there was no competetition--granite--there were more bad teams than good---ill easily admit that--but take a look at some of the teams we beat also before you criticize

bigpoppa---you pretty much hit the nail on the head--we did play hard and were prepared but we didnt execute-and it had to be very difficult for coach d because we lost a lot of talent to central and it was a tough situation to come into---i do also agree that the opporunity he was given with us was not the best considering the school splitings and what there was to work with

bipoppa---very intelliegent response---again--i dont know what went on "behind the scenes" but i guess they thought they needed a change---so even if we dont go 20-5 i dont know if their will be a new one--good response though(hint of sarcasm for you) and yes we got a transfer from hunters lane--hes played good for us this summer and will help us quite a biy im sure
