while i agree that many newspapers do not cover soccer well enough, i think that the idea to drop a subscription because of that is absurd. the tennessean is one of the better newspapers in the southeast, in terms of news reporting. that being said, cookeville's herald-citizen generally does a good job, but that may be because of cookeville's great season last year

i lived in a small town in when i was in high school, so we had a limited number of players from which to choose. our club team was never that great (best we did was win d-II state championship), but our high school team made it to the aaa state semis last year. so high school.

i think they lost a ton of their key players from last year's team

college is great. i'm at furman university...as for college soccer, i never really planned on continuing to play after high school. i didn't look into any schools where i had a chance of playing, and only sewanee and one other school (forget who) were interested in me. i do miss playing, though. as for last year's class, kent starkweather is playing at centre college, and roland borys is at lipscomb. brandon smith might be playing somewhere in california, but i don't know. thanks for the info
