Martin luther king this year was a very tough to play because no one but a few parents were in the stands. It was very quiet and the floor was extremely slick. If you want to be successful there your team has to create its own energy because you wont get any from the stands.

Why get the coaches involved? We all have sundays off so why not just meet at a gym and play? But if yall want the coaches and the fans then tell your savior to call Roller and im sure he would agree to it

im pretty sure the districts are at Macon county but i dont know where the region tourney is. Does anyone know?

Gomab, I agree with your list except for Corey brewer. He's not a top 5 player in the mid-state right now. he has unlimited potential but takes too many bad shots and has no understanding about how to play the game. as of right john ferguson is the best player on his team. I think Ferguson, Shane Dansby and Brett Warner should also be considered for this honor.

NCS would be lucky to lose by 30. Lipscomb's average margin of victory is about twenty, so how is a team that has never gotten out of the district gonna beat a team that's blowin out good AA and AAA teams? NCS wouldn't have a chance.

I think Springfield will walk away with the W but the margin of victory depends on which Springfield team shows up.

I think the big thing for the players is that they get to do what they spend hours in a gym workin on and not play keep away for a whole quarter. I think that the stall game is only fun for the coaches and old school fans.

i think they adopt a 35 second shot clock. I know it takes away the chess match strategy for the coaches but the game isnt about them. Its about the players and a shot clock makes the game more fun and gives more players a chance to show what they can do. It also is a commercial issue b/c more people would come to the games if they were more fast-paced and exciting. Being a high school player, I know that I would welcome a shot clock right now in the middle of the season.

Titan, Im glad you have kids there and have followed the program for how ever long BUT you just dont know what you are talking about. There are several guys besides the football guys and Stephen who are very good players and "real athletes". They have plenty of basketball talent but they just havent shown it yet. I respect your opinion but i also realize that your just another fan like all the other people in the stands and you really dont know what goes on. I also have been around the program for awhile and know for a fact that this team is completely different from any Lipscomb team before them.

titan man, i highly doubt that Lipscomb could be undefeated and only have one "athlete" and a bunch of role players. I also doubt that you have seen them play this year. I think your thinking of what you saw last year or years in the past and assume that this team is like all the other Lipscomb teams. I think these guys are completely different from any other team Lipscomb has ever had, but thats just my opinion.

what's really scary though is that lipscomb blew them out playin only a quarter and a half of real offense and lost about 6 to 8 in the last few minutes when the game was over. Just think of what would have happened if they hadn't stalled.

I think holding a guy who averages about 15 to 20 points a game to only 7 points is pretty good D. Maybe you could stop Ray Stanton (#4 for Springfield) but i doubt it. Hops is a defensive force whether you acknowledge it or not.
