Brentwood will have to get past Whites Creek, who's been playing great basketball lately. Hillsboro will have to go against a tought McGavock also.

In Nashville Chris Russell has been terrific for Hillsboro. He really wants to win, and I think that he should be a Mr. Basketball finalist.

I hope that hendersonville can make it to the state, but the same thing happened last year when they got put out by maplewood.

Chris Russell and Brian May are my pick for the wojo's of Nashville. Both play with intensity and hustle, which is the reason why they are having a pretty good year.

it sounds like some of you guys haven't seen Jamont play. He has no choice but to shoot he's not surrounded with the team that Tyler has. But if you haven't seen him play yet he's extremely talented, as well as Tyler.

I forgot all about Tyler Smith who averages about 4 dunks a game. He can get up to be as tall as he is.

In Nashville it is Chris Russell 6-2 for Hillsboro and Jamont Gordon 6-5 for Glencliff. Both are outstanding leapers.

You are really missing out on a player from Overton High named Chane Sawyers I'm not sure if he's the best, but I know for a fact that he's better than John Hobson. The coach over at Overton really doesn't believe in freshman playing varsity, thats the only reason that he's not playing, he's definitely good enough. Check him out if you can. He plays AAU for the Mottep Panthers in Nashville.

Chane Sawyers for Overton has a very nice game. He has a great feel for the game. Will be a very good player if he continues to do what he's doing. 6'0, 170, 2 guard/small forward

I believe that gordon is better because his ability to play all over the court, when i seen smith play he was more of an inside/mid-range threat. Not like gordon, who can play all over the court. Gordon has the ability to pass, but he feels that they have a better chance with him shooting than anyone else.

5'9, about 160, great outside shot, very fast, athletic, needs to improve on handles to keep up with Oak Hill. he's a shooting guard. [Edited by domonique2002 on 1-2-03 1:14P]

I'm sorry, but Oakland didn't seem all that great to me against stratford or hillsboro. The reason why Oakland didn't play so well is because Hillsboro's defense. It's hard to come out and beat a good team by fifteen points when they're playing like that, the game ended wrong if you ask me. [Edited by domonique2002 on 12-28-02 8:46A]
