They are a young team with a tough, firey coach.......great combo. By the way Red about 6 years ago I TOO coached soccer. Did it for one year cause nobody else wanted to do it. I did it for the kids.It was a first year program and we went 6-6 in a tough district......they ain't done as well since.

Agreed.....you need to look there.....we had an enforcer there a few years ago....had he stayed the boys program would have towed the line. Everyone both feared and respected him. Tipps is the best basketball coach in Coffee County without question.....let him do his job.

Know all about the system Jethro......and there is a big...big....difference in how they operate. If you don't know that then you are either ignorant of basketball or of talent levels. Perry was talented but could he have played for Kansas.....Duke....or even Vandy? If he could have he would have believe you me. He was a "Meyer" type player and as I have tried to point out there is nothing at all wrong with that. It is a quality system but they just coach a different game. Mooney is from that Lipscomb mold.........meaning that they are terrific with teams that have just a little talent but not so great with talented players......just look at Roller. He is the best I ever saw at coaching the type athlete he has at DL but I don't think he could win a state title at lets say Glencliff. Different mentality and those Meyer guys can't adjust to it.

My old coach at Lebanon had a player named Mo........he would call him modincus every now and again.......you had to know Coach Gibbs to appreciate that. I agree with you....I like ruppy......besides everyone knows that name and I don't want to give up my controversial identity.LOL.

Well that has to be addressed by the coaches. If they are strong and take no bull then the players will fall in line. By the way who coaches them anyway?
