  1. #1. Standing on the Creekbank in Trousdale County Looking at the Scoreboard Showing Macon 21 and Trousdale 7. #2. Macon County winning Region 4-3a. #3. Macon County winning its first ever Playoff game. #4. Kittrell Smith hitting a 38 yard field goal with 1.7 seonds left to Put Macon into the Quaterfinals, and Him hitting a 50 yard field goal with 11 seconds left to put Macon into the semi-finals.
  2. Wilmore got running back of the year (which he deserved greatly). I do not recall an award being called offensive MVP at the Banquet.
  3. I can give you Macon County's players who made all region. Derrick Gann #50 played DE Jacob York #18 played WR and DB Jacob Law #33 FB and DE Ryan Evetts #58 Guard and DT Brian Allen #76 Tackle and DT Kittrell Smith #14 Kicker, Punter, WR and DB Kevin Centers #71 Guard, LB----- Recieved Co-MVP Offensive Lineman along with Chris McConnel (I think that is the young mans name) from Smith County. Adam Clemons #65 Center, LB---- MVP Linebacker Josh Hudson # 20 RB, DB---- Region MVP Congrats to every young man in Region 4-3a who recieved the honor of making all region.
  4. Our School colors are still blue and white. We have just added black pants this season just to give a different look. Has no one noticed that other sport teams at M.C.H.S. has already added some black in their uniforms in the past few years? We are just doing what previous Macon County teams did with the color Red and it has never been an official school color either.
  5. That would be two games muffin, the quartefinals, and the Semifinals. My answer to the question on this thread is, no, Crockett County is not overrated. I just dont think there is a great deal of difference in any of the remaining teams in 3-A when it comes to their overall ability.
  6. I as many am looking very forward to this ball game. I hope it has the same outcome as the last one. I do know that Smith will be chomping at the bits and I know it will be an even better team than what we seen in week 5, However, I do feel like we are an improved team as well. Finally beating some very good football teams has given us the confidence (not to much however) we have been looking for. I hope for a great battle with no injuries and I too will be making a trip east no matter who wins. I am a tiger fan first, then I am a region 4 fan second. Antwan, I think in an earlier post you claimed that Macon County was preseason picked at the top of the region and Smith was 5th. I thought that Macon was 4th and Smith was 5th. Correct me if I am wrong. Either way I think that it is awesome what both teams have accomplished this year. Macon County doing things that has never been done here and Smith County having the season they have had after a great deal of people were counting them out because they graduated so many starters last year. Good luck to both teams and I am proud that Region 4 will be represented in the Semi-finals. Go Tigers P.S. For those who are complaining because we get no respect..... we get it where it counts. We do not need a Sports segment on the news or a write up in the Tennessean to get respect (Smith County fans... I am not saying that you need them either, I have great respect for the entire program). The season we have had has earned us respect and crying about it only takes away from it. So support our boys as I know we do up here and dont worry about the news reporters.
  7. I thought it was our third trip to the playoffs, either way it does not matter, we just need to take care of one game at a time. All this talk about Smith County or Portland when we have got to play this week first, and who knows, anyone in our region could lose at any point. Come on Tigers, give Howard a reason to go home with their tails tucked. I too hope someone from region 4 is playing in the big game at the Boro.
  8. If Macon County wins out and since they are playing on thursday night of that week, the Portland, Smith County game (assuming portland beats livingston which they may not do) will decide the winner og the region. Portland wins out, they win the region, if they loose, Macon wins the region (assuming they win out). If this becomes the case, my vote for game of the week on Oct. 31 would be the Portland, Smith County game.
  9. The coaches in region 4-3a agreed in case of a tie that the first tie breaker is how the two teams came out in their head to head matchup. Trust me, this is the way it works in our region. If Portland gets another loss, and we win out then we win the region.
  10. Portland only loss to Trousdale, and still have to play Smith. We lost to Portland so we are tied at 5-1 in the region with them having the tie breaker.
  11. Muffin has to throw that in because he/she (whichever it is) has picked Macon to loose every other big game we have played in. 1-3 not bad muffin..........
  12. Yes, you are correct on who beat who, except Portland beat us and have only one region loss as well. If they do not loose another region ball game they win the tie breaker because of the head to head matchup with them winning the game.
  13. ChrisBurr55555, where are you from and what is your interest in our program? Dont get me wrong, I am happy that you are posting positive things about us, I was just wondering the connection because in other post it has seemed that you may be from east TN. Thanks for the comments and support.
  14. Hoping we will finish first. We still have to win out and we need either Livingston or Smith County to beat Portland.
  15. I completely agree 71fan. We still have a long road ahead and still need to improve each week. Right now we need to focus on the Cannon County game. I do think we will win this game but we cant overlook anyone we play.
  16. Would someone call the wiiiiaaaaambulance for 419 carpet. By the way, you are not a 1-a team, you had the enrollment of a 2-a team and chose to go to 3-A, so quit the crying about being a 1-A team playing in 3-A. Trousdale has done an excellent job by the way playing in 3-A. I was actually hoping to see you all win the state last year. Great game by both teams and I hope and pray that the trousdale player (#30) is O.K. and will be back playing soon. By the way, trousdales home side may be 1 1/2 times larger than the visotor side, but they were barely half full and we did not have an emty seat and had people standing all around the fence also.... Hey Muffin, thanks again for picking our opponent to win. I think you must really be a Macon fan who just gets on here and says the things you do to try and pump us up. Thanks but we dont need it.... Go Big Blue!!!!!
  17. Well I thought that York had a chance until I saw that muffin was predicting them to win. So far the games that I have cared anything about muffin has struggled in picking the winner. Portland in a close one.
  18. Tiger Pride MC, If you are really a player you need to enjoy the win and not worry about what anyone is saying. Get ready for next week and take care of the business at hand.
  19. Great game and even a better atmosphere last night. Smith County played a good ball game last night with a great deal of heart and class, my hats off to your young men of Smith County. You all have a great program and it saddens me to see anyone jumping on the Coaches or pointing fingers. They must know what they are doing with the success they have had the past few years. It appeared to me that they were trying to attack Macon in places where they had seemed weak in the first four ball games. However, Macon has been working on those areas and getting better in those areas every week. Congrats to Macon County for all your hard work since the end of last season. We have 5 more big important games left so lets get ready for each one a game at a time. I sure am happy to see the support that we are getting on Friday nights, keep it up fans. Now I think it is time after 25 pages we move on to next week and another very important week for both teams. Good luck to both.
  20. That is sometimes the difference in a good team and a great team, how you respond to a bad call on a turnover. You still have to play the whole game and the teams still left playing in december are those who are able to outplay their opponents as well as the officials. I do believe that the quality of officiating by the TSSAA officials has been going down hill fast over the last few years.
  21. 71 fan, one of those runs was jacob york, and the other run was not actually called back, ther was an early whistle and we had to replay the down. We would have had two more touchdowns if it had not been for these two coming back.
  22. Muffin, If you read my post I asked "If you knew the answer, why did you ask the question" and you want to talk about being slow. It is real easy to throw insults around while hiding behind a computer. Since I have answered a question for you (on a different board), why dont you answer the same question for me. Where and when did you graduate high school?
  23. That makes two of us 71fan, Jackson by at least 14.
  24. Westmoreland is a much improved team over last year. I have heard and seen many good things about this team. I too pick Macon but it will be much closer than what BigB76 is predicting. Look forward to seeing you invincible7s, I will try to look you up after the game.
