Agreed. Considering the other games that have aired this year, this one deserves it as much as any. It's just a good, old-fashioned local rivalry that's been going on a long time. Here's to an injury-free night for all.

Unfortunately we spent all our money on the stadium upgrade so we didn't have enough left over for a full 10 yards of chain. We have it in the budget to add a link each year until we get to 10 yards... /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Butch, the announcer, is a good guy. He's a passionate, life-long Bobcat fan and he does have a tendency to let the refs know if they miss an obvious call. What's just as bad is the announcers that announce the play while it's in progress. Like, "he's coming around the right end". That goes on in our region.

Oh my goodness... they did this all week on the Greenbrier vs Macon thread and now they're doing it again. I thought they would have gotten it figured out by now. Sorry for those that will have to continually read through it.

Meigs made that game tough. They came out slow but then got really stubborn the rest of the night. If I remember right, they had a QB that was really tough and made a lot of plays.

It'll be a major task for the Cats to get the "W". White House seems to be in machine mode right now and the Cats are down this year. It'll take a a really, really good game from the Cats to pull it off.

I'm assuming that you guys are men, former football players, guys that probably wouldn't take anything from anyone that you didn't care for from anyone. Yet, none of you have enough gonads to go ahead and just say who you are and put an end to the soap opera. I'm entertained by it all and outside of that I could care less but come on. This is what middle school girls do.

Great job Cats and congrats to the seniors. Going 5-0 at home is something to be proud of. Getting one more win next week would really close out the season in style.

You'd be better off to pay to watch the old dads try to resume their normal activities in the week following the game. We've been hearing it for years so it's easy to turn a deaf ear to it. I purposely never joined the Athletic Club, palled around with the coaches, or did much to get involved with the program for just this reason. Usually the complainers are the ones that have such a tainted view of their sons or their own actual ability and it's been that way since jr pro. When my oldest was a freshman, during homecoming week for dress up day, even had a starting senior football player dress up as "god" and said he was him. We got used to it early. Mine proved their point on the field. Considering the names that this little whiner threw out, isn't it odd how the "favorites" were all good athletes?

What's funny is to hear the complaining coming from many of the same parents that were doing it a few years back and don't even have a kid playing now. And now, their kids sit with them and complain too.

Jumping 2 levels is a big jump but I believe it'll come around for SC. They have a large student body to pull from.

Is Macon having to deal with a great many injuries?
