  1. Where did all the Commander faithful go? I'd just like to see someone from Possumtown admit that TC is a good team and showed their strengths tonight at FC. I knew the 5 touchdown business was a load of crap, but I did think it would be at least 2. Congrats to the Jackets and to Coach Creasy on another big win!!!!
  2. Don't usually have much to say to inaccurate posts, but I have to comment on this one. How can people continue to discredit Coach Creasy for what he's accomplished this season? Yes, Clint has been on the sidelines for some of our games, but he hasn't talked to the boys during the games and has very little to say to the coaches. He doesn't meet with them at halftime and has even been an extra "water boy" at one game. The Satterfield era has ended (and it was a GREAT one). Whether or not Creasy asks for Satterfield advice off the field, I don't know, but why wouldn't he? Creasy and the other coaching staff deserve the glory for a great season so far. Oh, and by the way, I guess I'll make a prediction on tonight's game. I honestly don't believe FC has got what they need to stop the TC game. Weather conditions may make it closer than it would be on a dry field. Iam going to predict a 7 - 10 point Jacket victory.
  3. Kicker: Jared White of Trousdale County (His yellow shoes ought to at least get him noticed.) /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  4. Just a"GOOD LUCK" from a Trousdale County Voleyball Mom! I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this team play this year. You have a very talented group of young ladies that I hope to see win back-to-back championships. Can't tell you how thrilling it's ben to see the Arnold twins play the past couple of years. The Lady Cats are a class-act team with a well-respected coach. By the way, where are the Arnold girls going to college????
  5. Jared White of Trousdale County is not only good on the field with extra points, field goals, and punts, he excels in academics and leadership role in the school and also the community. Haven't heard where he wants to go or if any D-I schools are talking to him. He would definitely be an asset to somebody's special teams program.
  6. Remember that these TC seniors have 2 years worth of revenge built up in them. The loss to Watertown the past 2 seasons cost these boys a region championship and they know it. No holds barred on the Creekbank Friday night! The Jackets have something to prove. Congrats to Creasy and staff for the necessary halftime adjustments made in the Livingston game. It was a different team the second half; more focused, more aggressive, more determined. Good game guys!!!
  7. I guess the Tigger fans and everyone else had all the questions about a Jacket team without Coach Satt put to rest. Those Jackets came ready to play and proved they are united under Coach Creasy. Macon has some good athletes, just wasn't enough to handle the offensive weapons of the TC crew. Tacola Seay had an awesome game along with several others. Looks like good things are in store if the Jackets can stay injury free. Impressed with Young at quarterback too. A very good night for the Jackets overall. See you next week at Livingston!!!!! By the way, for all of you still hung up on the Satterfield issue, yes he was on the sideline. He's the Director of Schools, but if you paid attention, he was not around the coaching staff and didn't leave out with the team at halftime. He has said he would be on the sidelines of all the games just like the principal, but with no coaching input. Watching his face last night, you could tell it was hard for him not to give some advice, but he didn't. Give Creasy and his staff the credit for a big first win.
  8. The TC Board of Education meets regularly on the second Thursday of each month. I think this will be the night for hiring the new coach.
  9. Very few high school football games, especially playoffs, are ever played with the respect and class that I saw Friday night in S. Pitt. Both teams, coaches, fans, bands, and everyone displayed a class-act attitude. This is something that both schools should be very proud of. Showing that kind of respect and class says more about the 2 programs than their win/loss stats. As far as the game, S. Pitt is loaded with speed and my Jackets just couldn't keep up with that speed. TC has nothing to regret or hang their heads about. Our turn should come in the next few years. We are young and will be back in the future. Congrats to the Pirates and best of luck on your road to the 'Boro. Sure wish it wasn't a 2 hour plus trip or I'd probably be down there this week, too.
  10. T.C. graduated in May of 99, but his last football season was the 98 season.
  11. OOPS!!! I was misinformed. The bus is leaving from the high school at 2:00, not 3:00. There were only a few seats left yesterday afternoon.
  12. Citizen's Bank is chartering the bus to S. Pitt. at $20.00 a seat. It will be leaving the bank at 3:00 with plans to stop and eat before the game.
  13. Smith Co has beaten TC 2 years in a row. H20 is not the only.
  14. Trousdale County's Satterfield and associates must be included. When you only have approximately 25 - 30 kids and can turn out the results that TC has, somebody's doing something right.
  15. Don't worry. Sam's spirit will be with the boys each and every Friday night. They all have a sticker on their helmet with the initials SJD in his memory. There is also a plaque being placed on the pressbox reserving a seat in his memory.
  16. I know this will probably get ugly, but I'm hoping all FCS and TC fans can keep their posts reasonable. What about it???? Friendship or TC for region title????
  17. Macon Co. also plays Wilson Central in the first match-up.
  18. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!LA from Trousdale COunty. At least one Yellow JAcket fan was pulling for you, but I think a lot of us were. Great game. I enjoyed watching every minute of it. Once again, congrats on an impressive and well deserved championship!!!
  19. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! to LA on their impressive victory. You had at least one Trousdale COunty fan (and I'm almost sure there were more)pulling for you on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the game and enjoyed every minute of it. Once again, congrats on an unbelievable and well deserved championship!!!!

  21. Thanks a bunch, Volzchamps. We appreciate the support and hope all of Middle Tennessee is behind us now. Hope you can follow us to the 'boro!!!!!
  22. The cold weather will definitely not stop the TC faithful. Rumor has it that this will be a very large crowd (Macon Co., Smith Co., and some Sumner CO.) no matter what the temp is. Don't think the cold will affect the Jackets' game plan. Power football is power football. Hope all the Jacket fans come ready to be up and LOUD tonight. This is not the night to sit in your seat. Support these boys and especially the Seniors as they step onto the "creekbank" one last time. GOOD LUCK JACKETS!!!!!!
  23. Saying that TC players are taught to cheat, fight, or whatever is totally wrong. If you are not from TC, you don't know what goes on up here. We do have football players that are college graduates and also college players, albeit they are not Division I NCAA colleges. Our boys do learn a lot more on the field than the plays, but I guess you'd have to be part of that tradition to know that. Trash talking is O.K. on here, but putting down kids is inexcusable.
  24. Even odder is a TC fan pulling for the Owls!!!!! Thanks for the support and best of luck to the Owls and the Jackets Friday night!!!!! Wouldn't it be great for both to make it to the 'Boro?????
