With a win you hear nothing about the long trip...I think MUS is playing the best ball in Div II AAA rightnow...since the lashing they took from brentwood they have played outstanding.

sheltons time was legit i remember when it happened the scouts went nuts...but truth be told he really wasnt that good from what i saw just a pure burner!

Anyone remember this guy from when he was a good TB from Germantown? I knew he got a ride to auburn back in 1998 but hadnt seen anything on him so i kinda forgot about him til I saw him a couple of weeks ago in the auburn florida game...he had 12 tackles in the firsthalf cause he is now a middle linebacker...and the announcers were sayin he is one of the best in country. Has anyone been keeping up with him..and if so how good is he??

for a normal game I'd say 2 to 3 thousand...maybe 5 during the playoffs

Place is crazy...from the crackheads watching the game from outside the fence on park...or the what i swear is assfault in the field in some places. It is one of the more unique places to play a high school football game.

They are a solid team..good defense soso offense...took MUS to the wire last week but missed a key extra point with time running out and lost by 1.

Melrose could hang with anyone in any divison. After watching them beat CBHS,MUS,Memphis East,Farley they are truely one of the only teams from the West that is battle tested and still remain without a loss. I look for them to make a deep run in the playoffs and regain some of that late 1990's glory.

Germantown and Houston...been fun since Houston was built.....Germantown and CBHS will start again next year that was a great one until they made the split for public and private since they havent played...last game between the two took place at the liberty bowl with about 10,000 watching- and germantown winning i might add!

Whitehaven was the #1 passing team in the metro memphis area and Germantown beat them by 40 so pass D is not a problem. True that coach netherland doesnt toss the ball to much but when you have a line as big and backs as good as they have you dont really need pass that much. We will see though....also a none passing houston beat JCM last year so just because ya dont chunk the rock doesnt mean you cant win against mid state foes.

1998&1999 were good teams aswell.

Coach Netherland has been at it forever and is truely one of the best coaches Tennessee has ever seen. Rumor is he will retire after this season but I think he might stick around a little bit longer.

I think Germantown will take this one by a bunch. The whitehaven game showed me Germantown is 4real this year. Go RED DEVILS
