They are very athletic and have 3 D-1 signees. They do most of the work on the inside with 6'4" Myers and 6'1" Jefferson. Not a good team shooting from the outside. Riverdale stopped them by cloging up the lane and forcing them to shoot from outside. Don't worry about being out coached.

I would think Coach Patterson would get first crack at the job if he wants it which I'm sure he does. He interviewed when it was open the last time.

This is the first playoff game for Lawrence County since 1986. None of these kids were even born the last time Lawrence County was in the playoffs. Any info about Craigmont? That will be a long bus ride from Memphis to Lawrenceburg.

Franklin County got in and couldn't even beat any of the 5a teams in their region. They could have been 1-9 and made it in as long as they beat Lincoln County. Exactly, White Co did make it in 5A at 1-9. BUT Franklin Co did beat Coffee Co, I believe Coffee Co lost to EVERYONE in District 8 except #1 Columbia who they didn't play....... And White County 1-9 got a 6 seed over Shelbyville 5-5 and Cleveland 3-7. And Franklin County got the 7 seed over a 6-4 McGavock team.

I think it is a shame that one of these two teams has to lose in the first round. How does Cookville get a 1 seed over Mt. Juliet and Riverdale? They both have better records and they lost to Riverdale head to head. If anything Cookville should be the 4 and playing Oakland.

I think they are going to seed teams but not completely sure. Whatever way they do it I'm sure it will be a cluster. I'm still confused about who has the opportunity to qualify. There is talk about a team with only 1 district win getting in if there are only 2 teams in 6A in that district.

Does Cane Ridge have a field on campus or do they play somewhere else?

Coach Robbins

After spring practice is over nothing can be done with a ball until after the july dead period. Players can get together and work on things with a ball but no coach can be present.

If you are easily offended by what a coach may say during practice you might want to keep your distance and just show up for games.

It is kind of hard to audit cash in a brown paper bag.

Why do people go through the process of applying and interviewing for a job and then turn it down once it is offered?

Just because someone is part of a "championship program" does mean they are going to win anywhere they go. That is like someone labeling a kid as a "problem child". You have to form your own opinion of that child. Not all assistants are ready to run their own program. Just ask Franklin County about that, they got an assistant from a championship program and I think it got them less than 10 wins in 3 years. And he was one of the top assistants on that staff but it didn't work as a head coach. If you get a big school assistant don't look to keep him for very long. Coaching in 3A and 6A are two totally different worlds. Big school assistants are used to coaching one position on one side of the ball as opposed to coaching multiple positions on both sides. Plus trying to find 11 out of 30 is much different than finding 22 out of 100. The Northwest coach would be a good fit for you because he is used to not having a large staff to work with. He is fighting a no win situation at Northeast so his record there shouldn't matter.

I would say they would still do pretty well considering you have to have a good front squat in order to clean well. For most people if they clean heavy then they squat heavy too. The only thing about squat in a competition is getting consistent judging.
