  1. When's the last time that Fulton won AT AE? First few series are going to be crucial in this one. If AE jumps out early, it could be a long night for the falcons. IF fulton keeps their composure early, it could turn into a classic battle. My guess is AE by 14.
  2. 1. Central 1a. AE 2 Fulton 3. Webb (hammered Powell and competed with AE) 4. Farragut 5. Bearden 6. Catholic 7. Carter 8. Halls 9. Powell 10. West Rest: Gibbs, SD, Karns in any order
  3. I agree. Halls will struggle offensively and only win by 2 TD's. The rebels will find out that Halls has it, always has, and always will. GQ better get his double reverse pass ready if he's going to compete in this one.
  4. I agree with you Boo. I get sick and tired of seeing maryville covered on the Knoxville stations. However, the lack of media coverage used correctly could be a great motivating factor for your roadrunners. For what reasons do you think this bias exists?
  5. West seems to have a few athletes, but not much else. I think the coaching staff is young and still figuring things out. They've had a great deal of turnover coaching staff wise in the last couple of years. The game to decide who will be the cellar dwellar in 3-4A will be between Clinton and West. Spots 3-5 will be decided between Halls, Carter, and Powell. I agree about Gaylor. He got out while the getting was good. However, I believe I'd stayed at Clinton and suffered through whatever was coming rather than go to work for a program in maryville that has already reached it's peak and is on it's way down.
  6. Alcoa's the only football program in Blount Co. that has any class. Maybe during the offseason GQ and his staff can go visit with the tornadoes staff and learn a few things.
  7. Sounds like roid rage to me.
  8. Pure poetry, vitavol. Beautiful.
  9. 3-4A finishing order: 1. Central 2. Maryville (they get lucky and win a few more) 3. Carter (surprise team of the year) 4. Halls 5. Powell 6. West 7. Clinton Overall, this region is weaker than it has been in recent years, thanks to maryville stinking it up.
  10. Ski (pronounced ski) say that Hall will tune the smoky bears like a cheap piano. Ski talk to hall community and they not happy with coaching staff, especially assistants. Ski agree - jack crow law should be in effect for the assistant coaches if lose to smoky bears on friday.
  11. if GQ was as smart as you sheep believe, he'd start playing his 2nd and 3rd teamers right now in order to get ready to compete next year. This year's already been settled - Get used to mediocrity maryvillians because it is upon you.
  12. ronnieboy, I never said that the stud was responsible for that quote. It's good to see that you and sars are checking out the wrestling websites to check up on my accuracy. You guys need to get off the computers in the electronics department and get back up front and do the job they hired you to do - greet people. pepboy, the stud isn't wearing tights. As for obsessions with men in tights, you'll have to ask your mom about that.
  13. Central will make willy blunt wonder why they ever started a football program come Friday night. maryville should handle an inexperienced alcoa team this week. Hopefully GQ and staff can work on their "smoke and mirrors" offensive package a little more before they face the bobcats. Heaven know they don't stand a chance running their regular stuff. (just like in last year's championship game)
  14. A couple of thoughts from Saturday's game: 1) In the last decade Carter has finished in last place in 3-4A more than any other team. (no disrespect carter fans, it's just the truth) 2) In the last decade Maryville has finished in first place in 3-4A more than any other team. Had it not been for a couple of big plays and some phantom yellow flags by the middle school officiating crew working the game, you maryville guys would be calling for GQ's head today! Has Carter improved? Definitely. Has maryville slipped? Most definitely. All I can say is that is was an awesome point in the game when you could have heard a pin drop from the maryville fans after carter showed it wasn't going to be a doormat. I'm afraid that silence may last much longer for the maryville fans as the season goes on. Right before the half, when maryville throws it's second INT of the half which is almost returned for a TD (what were they thinking?), I loaned Central's coaching staff my cell and I overheard them asking for hotels in the murfreesboro area. Central fans, better book your room early.
  15. maryvillians, I just wanted to thank you ahead of time for making me 3 for 3 this week on my picks.
  16. splains, I hate to say it, but I have to agree with you on this one. Russell Mayezz is the real - deal holyfield.
  17. sars, What exactly was it you were saying about the great ron wright (pictured below) putting a "dog whooping" on the Stud? Looks as though he is on the wrong end of the dog whooping here, just like your boyz will be come Saturday. Come and pledge your allegiance to the bobcats early and often.
  18. maryvillians, I have just one question for you to ponder - What are you gonna do when the Stud nation runs wild on you come Saturday night, brother!! I've already broken this game down into the most basic scientific terms possible and there's no doubt that the great red machine's break down will begin precisely at 7:31pm Saturday night. The best picture I can paint for you to describe it is that of Custer in about 1877 sitting on his horse at Little Big Horn, exclaiming to one of his troops: "Where in the @$ll did all these Indians come from?" Nothing short of a massacre, brother! A massacre! It's not too late to change sides - Pick up your Central t-shirts and support your region!
  19. All 3-4A fans who want to see maryville get polaxed, show up saturday night wearing your "Maryville Who?" t-shirts. Remember to show up early for the Rebel Flag burning scheduled for 6:30 in front of Maryville's locker room. Also, don't miss the mudhole stomping scheduled for 7:15 when The Tennessee Stud's stable (snagglepuss, 4Afan, Billmorgan, cochese, billygoat, etc.) hunts down any maryville fan who posts their nonsense on here. When we get through with you, you're gonna call your doctor. You're gonna say, 'Doctor, doctor, what is the news?' And he'll say, 'The Tennessee Stud's stable got a hold of you. Now, say all you want to say..
  20. sars, I've spoken with the CoachT posting board and your post is in violation due to the following infractions: 1) unoriginal - you seem intent on using quotes from my posts 2) make absolutely no freaking sense - I guess your posts may mean something to the handful of middle-aged men in maryville who have no life that you are trying to impress on here.
  21. Carter beats down Maryville and makes them like it. Stop by on your way out of the stadium and pick up your official "We own Maryville" t-shirts for only $9.95. Central's jv team will get plenty of practice at Greeneville. Powell may have a tougher time than what everyone thinks at Webb. I'm guessing Webb by 3. West and Heritage - Do they have to play this one? Pick up your complimentary tickets at Arby's, along with your lady vol tickets. Oak Ridge owns Clinton. Always has, always will. This one's over by half-time. Halls will have it's hands full with Farragut's RB. Farragut could have their hands full with the Mynatt kid. Farragut by 3, just because they're at home.
  22. What halls has now: Above average coaching staff + average athletic ability = average to above average team. What halls will have if the community keeps whining: average to below average coaching staff + average athletic ability = average to below average team.
  23. What happened last year doesn't matter to me. I guess it will give you something to reminisce about after Central treats your beloved team like a red-headed step child this year.
