The score going into the fourth quarter was 55-7. Boyd at that point made a mistake in my opinion and put in a bunch of 9th graders. Unfortunately Whittwell didn't get the clue and left in their starters the entire 4th. Boyd will not make that mistake again. Just because some coaches are preparing for the future doesn't mean everyone feels the same.

I am sure South Pitt has a good team and all but Sweetwater is down this year. That was evident in their Preaseason Scrimmage with Howard in which they barely one 28-21. So is South Pitt that good or is their Competition just that bad?

Davis and Henly at Boyd Buch. will certainly make some tackles next year. Davis was the defensive player of the game in the state final and Henly had over 90 tackles as a will linebacker last season.

Yes Mark Byrd is a great Athlete and a hard nosed player,but unfortunately he is undersized. This sports writer guy evudently is not in tune with any D-1 qualifications or if he is he is just blowing smoke. Byrd will be a great D2 player but he is undersized to play in D1
