CN is already ranked 3rd in the D 2 division and if he goes to CN he has a chance to get a National Champiohnship ring his freshman year. How many chances ho you do you get to play in December for a National Championship. I hope he goes to Carson-Newman and joins the other Tn players that have already committed.

If you know Brandon, signing with Tech was not a easy decision for him to make. Brandon is an outstanding young man and he will do very well at Tech and he deserves our congradulations and support. Brandon is an Eagle, just not a CN Eagle.

If you really want to win, then look around you right now. For the teams that are winning programs the season has already started. Now, in the weight room, is when games are won. If you look around you and the players are not in the weight room or are in the weight room to grab ######, your season next year won't be any different.

Carson Newman is loading up on Tenn. tallent and went 12 - 1 last year. They lost in the quarter finals this year and expect to go all the way next year with their returning players and this years recurits. The chance of wearing a D2 National Championship ring has got to be pulling him toward Carson Newman. I hope he stays instate and goes to CN.

You got to give it to Lipscomb they were prepared and executed their game plan to perfection. Sweetwater had a great season and should be proud. Its time for the Sweetwater fans to get behind Lipscomb, because you don't want to think anybody but the state champions could beat you. Sweetwater will be back next year with a very good team so keep on working in the off season and settle for nothing less than the Boro and the Golden Football. Sweetwater has 3 State Championships and keep striving for the fourth.

First of all I am not T.J.. Secondly, he does not need your approval and he is cleaning out a spot for his third State Championship ring. Yes, he has had a rough year, but he is not complaining. He is proud to be playing at Sweetwater and loves the community and support they have given him. If getting beat by Sweetwater effects you so badly you need to grow up.

Sweetwaters line averages 256 and I would think for any level that is big. They go 265, 280, 200, 275, 260. Their FB goes 215 and the TB 180. They are 13 - 0 and in only one game was the margin of victory as low as 9 points, and they later beat that same team 32 - 0. Depending on GPAs and ACTs they could have up to 8 move on to the next level out of the seniors. The FB, that has gained 1500 yards and scored 27 TDs, is a sophmore. Yes they are tallented, tuff and on a mission to win for Sweetwater a fourth State Championship. David Lipscomb is in Middle Tn. and we do not know much about them, except they have beat some very good 2A teams the last two weeks. Go Cats

I have no serious information on Lipscomb and would just be guessing, but it appears that DL has been peaking at the same time as Sweetwater. The winner of this game goes to the Boro as the big favorite to win the golden football. This is what high school football is all about. Sweetwater is bring an outstanding football team to Nashville to play the Mustangs. Good luck to the Mustangs, but we expect to beat you by 14.

Mr. Branard I don't believe you answered anything. I believe all you did was call me ignorant. I will ask again why do you think it is foolish for Sweetwater and Oliver Springs to think they could play with Goodpasture or Lipscomb. You must travel alot and see alot of games to make that statement. The only local team that we know that played either one of your teams was Knox Webb and Goodpasture did not have a good game. This is the playoffs and anything is possible Mr. Branard as Maryville proved in 2000.B looking for you on the 29th.

I would say Meadows is not an option for Rockwood. He was turned down by Rockwood twice and is now at a great 5A school and has taken his team to the quarter finals. I do not believe if Rockwood tried to get him that they could afford him.

Why is it foolish? Have you seen Sweetwater play or is it just the private school attitude toward public schools. Sweetwater has a very solid and deep team for a 2A and can play with any 2A in the state and they have alot or respect for Goodpasture and Lipscomb. Sweetwater & Milan

If you haven't been to a Sweetwater game in a long time this would be the one to come to. It will be a knock down grudge match. Sweetwater has just gotten T.J. Brock back to help on offense and defense and the team, that has been undefeated without him, seems complete again. Sweetwater should win by 21 points, but make no mistake about it, Oliver Springs is not coming to Sweetwater to lay down. Sweetwater's Big Cats are big, strong and conditioned. They have been dominating in the trenches. You will appreciate this team and their run to the Boro.

Wartburg, you folks have had enough problems I hope you win tonight and make it to the Quarter Finals.

The big cats up front are playing great and that is what Rockwood won't be able to handle. The big cats dominated them last time and will do it again, they have even gotten better. Big games are won in the trenches and the rain even makes it better for the big cats and a back like Dustin Latham. T.J. is a mudder and has performed very well in the past in big playoff games in the mud. Sweetwater will win by 28.

Sweetwater is at the top of their game and this game is going to be worse than the 28 - 6. The thing that is making Sweetwater is the big boys up front they have been getting better game by game and they are ready to carry Sweetwater to the Boro. The offense has been putting up almost 40 a game and now T-rock is back to add to the offensive production. Sweetwater is on a mission and look for them to score early and often. 45 - 7. You will have to come to the Boro for the Friday 2A game and do the conecake thing for the Sweetwater Wildcats, but you would have to dress in Blue & Gold.

T.J. has 3 bones broke in his left foot, one is displaced and he will have surgery to put it back in place Tuesday. If everything goes well he will be back in 6 weeks.
