  1. Can anyone give me a scouting report on East Hamilton?
  2. Final... Crockett loses a close one 20-17 Congrats to the Purple Bears and great season to the Cavaliers!
  3. Since the bracket was released, Crockett Co. folks in the know saw Trezavant as the biggest obstacle in the Cavaliers path. I promise that the Crockett coaching staff/players are not taking the Purple Bears lightly and have nothing but respect for what they have accomplished so far. I'll take the Cavs in a close one...
  4. Hope both teams have an injury free game and best of luck to the Milan Bulldogs... Seriously, aren't 5 rings in the past five years enough?
  5. Glad to hear they are still playing tonight... got some trick or treating to do with my kids tomorrow. GO CAVS!
  6. Still waiting to hear if they are going to play tonight or tomorrow... a decision was to be made by 1 P.M.
  7. I wouldnt go by comparing scores,,DHS was playing much better when playing CC than when they played Milan .. What about the JCS scores: Milan beat them 24-14 while Crockett pulled out a 34-7 win.
  8. Crockett will win this one big at home... I'll say by 3 tds.
  9. On Saturday, I heard from a Milan player that he would be out 6 weeks...
  10. Smack talk is nice, but its just talk... The only team that Milan and Crockett have both played this season is JCS. Milan beat them 24-14 and Crockett beat them 34-7. I expect a classic smash-mouth Milan/Crockett ball game between two undefeated teams at the end of the season. Until then, as I said, its just talk.
  11. The feeling is mutual, bulldog69 (I hope that was your number when you played). Its high school football...
  12. First off, trueblue, welcome to coacht.com. As to your post, this is not the place for juvenile comments such as this. It doesn't reflect well on you or the team you support. Keep it classy...
  13. I see Crockett running away with this early in the second quarter... Crockett 27 Boliver 6
  14. Go back and read the post I quoted... Just responding to why the staff and players were upset... I'll say it for a third time: the Chargers out played the Cavs and you can't take ANYTHING away from them. Heck, I'm pulling for them to take the trophy home from Murfreesboro. I didn't say that the refs spotted the Chargers 20 points or that they were trying to stick it to the Cavs... I was only pointing out missed calls at the end of the game that turned out to be huge.
  15. Not to take anything away from the Chargers, but the Cavaliers had a lot to complain about with the lack of calls (holding, facemask, etc.) by the refs. Not to mention the 4th and goal touchdown that did not reach the endzone. As I said before, nothing against the Chargers. They came ready to play and jumping out to a 20 point lead makes it difficult on any opponent. I just think the lack of calls may have made a diffrence in this game. Best of luck to Region 7 in the weeks to come.
  16. The latest from the weather channel... 7pm Mostly Cloudy 65°F 20% chance From SSW 9 mph 8pm Scattered T-Storms 64°F 40% chance From SW 10 mph 9pm Scattered T-Storms 63°F 40% chance From SW 10 mph I can live with that...
  17. While I think Crockett should be at the top of the list... 21 pts.?
  18. Simmer down, I'm on your side. The guy was about to have a mental breakdown if he didn't hear something, so I quoted the paper. Keep'em guessing!
  19. Nervous? Well, according to the Jackson Sun... Senior running back/linebacker Jarvis Perry severely sprained his MCL in a 13-6 victory over Haywood and is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks. "I'm not going to jeopardize anybody's career," said Crockett County coach P.A. Pratt , whose team plays host to Frayser (2-7) in the first round of the playoffs Friday. "He might be back in Week 4 (of the playoffs), but doctors aren't too optimistic about it. "We'll just have to wait and see." With Perry out, junior Terry Lyons will fill in at running back. Lyons will have the luxury of being surrounded by one of the area's top senior trios in quarterback Craig Massey and wide receivers/defensive backs LeShaun and LeRon Johnson , the fuel for an offense averaging 41.5 points per game. Pratt is confident in Lyon's abilities. "I believe he would be starting for any other team in West Tennessee," Pratt said
  20. I'm not seeing the connection since I never read where Patton made excuses when thing didn't go his way. "Give credit where it's due." - George S. Patton "Do not make excuses, whether it s your fault or not." -George S. Patton
