  1. From what I know, it has been within the past month. I don't know if he is still on the staff, but he is still a teacher.
  2. According to 5 Star Preps, it's Rodney Ellison. Great news for us. Get ready to see a lot of passing.
  3. They better not be overlooking Campbell County either.
  4. Good work! Would you do a similar report for Coach Taylor on the Girl's forum?
  5. Spot on. We played well enough when we had to. A big key for our success was the play of Ty Hersch on the D line. As far as the championship game went, I thought the interior of the Summit Oline just owned us all night long. Our O-line didn't far much better. I loved how we competed in our win and final game. I really didn't have a beef with the refs. Summit played very aggressive and crossed over the line pretty often. I thought No. 9 watched too much arena football growing up. Without the offensive penalties the score would have been worse. Very pleased with our season. Our players and coaches rose to the occasion and made it a special one.
  6. They looked real good against Halls last week. With their full team back, they will be good again. A fun team to watch.
  7. 2 hours till game time! Should be a great game, the field is looking great this evening! Go Cats! #RWR
  8. Wildcats started out flat against the Trojans. Last part of the 2nd quarter made a big difference in the game. Need to be a lot sharper next week against Rhea. Hats off to Soddy for fighting hard the whole game. Six years in row we have won over Soddy in the playoffs. RWR!
  9. Soddy Daisy over Oak Ridge at Oak Ridge? Oh, i missed this one Lenoir City over West??????
  10. Mark Haste posts them on his twitter, @haste_mark
  11. I can answer most of those. The first penalty was on Oak Ridge, offsides. Powell went for 2 and would have made had they not moved early on the line. #32 was Elam, he was wearing his Dad's number for Senior night. Adams and Hayward wore #44 and #6 for their brothers. Place kicker, same guy. Great win for our boys and the coaches!
  12. Yes, there will be tickets sold at the gate.
  13. I thought we did well to hang in there tonight on defense. Nobody could block #35. Most dominate defense player that I have seen play at DB since McMillin in the early 2000s. We got whipped at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I was disappointed that we didn't come off of the mat and fight harder on offense. Offensively, we are a lot better than we showed tonight. Work hard this week boys and get better. We know you can. That said, DB is a very good team that should make some noise in 6A come playoff time. Probably the 2nd best 6A team in the east. and a top 5 team statewide.
  14. Congrats to our guys for clinching the regular season District championship! Unlike the first time, this one was never in doubt from the beginning.
  15. Great win tonight at Karns. Totally destroyed them. Shanklin with a dunk in front of his old team was the highlight of the night.
  16. I am going to reserve judgement until after Friday's game at Central. After playing some poor ball just before Christmas, we have picked up our play. If we come out with a win at Central, then at the halfway point in District play, we will be 2 games up over Clinton and Karns. I think the real battle is between the 2nd through 5 place teams. That is very tight. I could see all of those teams splitting their games between them.
  17. Yes, this team will be really scary if all them start shooting better. She did a great job of drawing fouls early on for us to stay in the game.
  18. Wildcats come on strong in the 2nd half to defeat Science Hill 49-31. Play Miami Sr. (FL) tomorrow at 11:45. Way to bounce back!
  19. Winchester had a great game. Miller missed a lot of shots he has made so far this season. It's a good thing that Stewart was able to pick up the slack. Johnson for us was off as well.
  20. It's the annual transition from AAU to Prep basketball. Happens every year.
  21. The post Guinn era began tonight with a thrilling come from behind victory over a good Meigs Lady Tiger team. 51-42. We are going to struggle early on, but I think we have the makings of a pretty good team.
  22. From what I can find it is radio only.
  23. Michael Williams, just transferred in from Alcoa. He's a Sophomore.
