Maryville was down this year , Maryville team from last year was a great team , Maybe one of the best Maryville team's ever to not win State ... only Problem was Oakland was even greater last year . Either team from Last year would have beat this year's Oakland team ... my opinion only , I try to steer clear of the Imaginary Football League !

Derek’s first year starting for the Rebels we had one returning starter on offense… . 15-0 … the one starter was a great one , Ryan Tallent , but so is Ladue . We don’t have a clue about next year yet , guys may grow , guys may get a lot better … seen it several times .

I wish you had provided a BS warning also . This is a perfect example of someone from the other side of the State thinking they know what’s going on from a few rumors from their Buddies. Sure you don’t want to knock Maryville, funny how you always seem to though . Having talent to win in 3A is quite a bit different than winning in 6A … if Alcoa is so dominant and Superior and only getting more dominating then surely they will at least step up to 4A so they can play a few teams that might make it a little exciting. So Alcoa beat Maryville for like the 4th time in 20 years and it’s all over for Maryville… myself, I’d rather win a Championship every few years against the State’s BEST than every year against … well not equally as talented teams . Not that I’m “ Knocking “ on your team or anything ol Buddy! LoL

Farragut was 1-1 vs Beech and you think It's " interesting " that Farragut didn't want to play Beech for the rest of Eternity ?? LOL , there's a lot of other schools that aren't a 3 hour drive ... I'm no Farragut fan but just implying this is ridiculous

Ok , why didn’t someone just say this earlier, that first game against Farragut makes a lot more sense now . Us guys on the other side of the State don’t know the details that make a difference. Hope it’s an entertaining game !

It used to be only the haters that showed up after we got beat to bash Maryville… hopefully we can rebuild and rebound next year to satisfy those fans that are totally behind Maryville… whether they WIN … or they WIN!! LoL

Noah Vaughn was one of our best Rb’s ever … Noah was extremely quick , fast and had put on a lot of muscle, he wasn’t as big as Ladue but he had great strength in his legs . I did feel like we should run both Vaughn and Ladue more before Noah got hurt . We basically played Ladue as a glorified guard before Noah got hurt . Both of them with over 15 carries a game I felt like would have been hard to stop and easier on both players. Oh well, I wish Noah nothing but the best and I look forward to seeing him with Va next year , and look forward to seeing Ladue tear it up again next year !

Congrats to Oakland very Dominant , Physical Team . Expect them to win again . Congrats to Maryville for making it this far , a lot of teams take this for granted , I hope Maryville never does .

So 7.5% equals Murvil fans , so by my calculations ( I’m not as good at Cifering as Starz is ) at least half the Murvil fans are still behind the Red Rebels!! LoL

I’d be shocked if Powell won , I just don’t think they have the Defense that West does . I think the only way Powell does win is if Potts has an amazing, miraculous game … which that kid has in him I have no doubt . Wish I could see this game

All Maryville fans I knew wanted to move up for years … can’t see how you wouldn’t love to play some more competitive games … if I was in your shoes I’d love getting to play Greeneville, Elizabethton , Anderson County, Fulton … btw , I’m not bashing Alcoa for not doing it , I know they’re playing by the rules . I’m not calling anyone scared , I think Alcoa would dominate 4A too , I just think there would be a lot more fun , competitive games for you guys that would bring a lot more money .

Stepping out to play a 4A team or 6A team is commendable for a 3A team , but I’ve noticed you showing up on other threads seeking attention the last 2 weeks… could it be because there wasn’t even a thread about Alcoa’s last game ? I didn’t even know who you all were playing last week… and I don’t even know who you’re playing this week… maybe if Alcoa was in 4A there would have been a great Greeneville vs Alcoa thread or Alcoa vs Anderson County thread with 30 pages … but enjoy the guaranteed Gold Ball in 3A , nothing wrong with that … just must really suck that no one even makes a thread for your upcoming Battle.

It's been out in the media yes Noah Vaughn is out for the year ... One of our best RB's ever , look forward to seeing him play for Virginia , Praying for the entire Virginia Team , community and State because of the terrible tragedy that happened there .
