It will be close game as all sports are between these two rivals. When they play you throw out the records. Should be a good one, but having Clark pitching should be an advantage for Coffee County.

Nice post Jonathan, but I will have to disagree with the idea that the boys team has been a let down. No one expected much out of them, no size, and several players with known attitude problems. Coach Taylor has done all he can do. Anyway all this talk about the boys team should be on a different thread.

I have heard from several people that Coach Tipps has been under a lot of fire lately and may be the next Coffee County coach to be dismissed.

I think that the Rebels are going to have a very good year next year probably the best in recent years. The group of kids they have have been playing well together for the last few years and this should be their time to shine. Pryor is the reigning region MVP, and their QB should be even better in his second year starting. They will be a tough team to play this year and I predict they will battle with Lincoln County for the region title.

I have heard rumors that they have already made a final decision on who they will offer the job to. I think it will either be a coach from Deltha State, or the head coach from Huntsville Lee. I expect an announcent early this week.

I do think that the jets had a great year, but I don't think it was much on the coach's part. With the amount of seniors and the amount of talent on the team most coaches could have fielded a winner this year. With everyone they are losing, tell me next year if you still feel he is in the league of these other coaches being mentioned on this thread.

My vote goes to Lincoln Co. Every year they have one of the toughest if not the toughest schedule out there.

I remember a few years ago the Coffee County student section was one of the best I have ever seen, but now they have fallen to one of the worst, with no participation it is horrible.

While it is a fact that he has been to Coffee County to check things out, I was just wondering how long everyone thinks it would take ol' Carlton to get passed on the active winning list. I was thinking about an average of 1.5 wins a year and he would probably get passed in about three years and his winning percentage would be destroyed. I am thankful for.. Umbrellas, Toboggins, Contacts, Calculators, Computers, Coacht.com, Fantasy Football, Fire extinguishers, Cars, All high school sports, Pizza from the Top Stop, the $1.oo Big and Tasty, and Most of all No John Madden on Thanksgiving Day football!

Not trying to cause problems, but I was pretty sure that this was a board for high school athletics not colligate. :confused:

1a- CPA's Coach 2a- David Lipscomb's Coach 3a- ??? 4a- Overton's Coach, This team has come a long way in 2 yrs 5a- Joslin Cookeville, Team that started poorly and with fewer athletes than most teams they played, really turned the team into a good one.

I have been hearing many rumors that the Grundy O-Line coach is going to be leaving. I know they are only rumors but I figured I would see if anyone knew if these rumors have any truth to them.

I haven't seen much about the search on here lately and was wondering what kind of progress had been made. Are there any candidates in mind? Interviews anytime soon? I too have heard these rumors. I would feel bad for the softball players if they like the football players had to suffer a very poor decision made by Reggie Johnson and Bobby Cummins. It is a shame that there not people with some actual knowledge in control at CCCHS.
