    AAA 182

Jones is the highest returning medalist at the weight. 1 lost in big schools while wrestling up a weight. I'd be the LAST to rank someone for simply being from Cleveland.

  5. Preseason rankings are now posted on pin-tn.com
  6. There are many from each division that’s have solid arguments.
  7. Some man who went by the alias, “DSommers”, voted for him.
  8. Brief background: As they do for both "Mr. Football" and "Mr. Basketball", the purpose of these awards is to accomplish the same recognition in wrestling. Going forward, it is my hope that the "Wrestlers of the Year" from each region will be the Nominees each year, and will be voted on for these end of the year awards. 2017-2018 Girls Wrestler of the Year 2017-2018 A/AA Wrestler of the Year 2017-2018 AAA Wrestler of the Year 2017-2018 Division 2 Wrestler of the Year
  9. Let’s revisit both of these predictions after.
  10. Where are you sending Hamm these updates?? I will gladly screenshot my emails here to show because I do NOT recall getting ANYTHING about 138lbers in my email. It was not until THIS WEEK that I was told from someone directly related to the Cleveland program about 138:145, and I have not had the moment to do the update. Actual statements like these are NOT in my email. Lastly, I ask what rankings are actually valid? In every sport, highly ranked teams or individuals are beaten by individuals or teams that are ranked lower. A LOT of time and effort are put into these that only a few know because they have personally tried. As I grew up in Tennessee, we had rankings for wrestling my entire high school career. I always appreciated them. At the end of the ‘99 season, the person who did them decided to step down. I stepped in and decided to take them over. I did so because if not, they would no longer exist. Other rankings have also come and gone, but my rankings have always existed. Now I will not tell ANYONE they are valid. I believe the only true ranking that holds validity, would be the placements at the end of the state tournament. If you are willing to help, the way you have here, send updates and results to hammrankings@gmail.com. I do not check coach t regularly, but I do check my email regularly.

  16. I do the rankings. There were not two kids from the same school ranked. Two different kids from two different schools were ranked, but mistakenly listed as from the same school. Thanks for the heads up. It has been corrected. Booger, in all due respect, you have NO IDEA how much research goes into rankings. Its early, and if a kid is listed on a roster and should be ranked, they are. As for the claim that guys on T could chunk more accurate rankings, perhaps you are right, but where are they? How often are they updated, and does it continue all season? Maybe you should publish your own, do it each week, all season long. Then, lets debate on how much research it takes.
  17. A/AA, AAA, and Middle Schools have been updated as of 12/5. Division 2 remains a work in progress, but will release this week. www.pin-tn.com
  18. Pre season Rankings now posted. www.pin-tn.com please send any notes to hammrankings@gmail.com A-AA and D2 to come later this week Along with October wrestler of the month!
  19. Zach Linton at 170 went 65-1 this year and did not lose to a Tennessee Wrestler. He defeated 4 of the other 5 state medallist in his bracket, and 2 of the D2 medallist, all but one by major dec or above. He only gave up an offensive score in 4 of 66 matches this past season (match he lost to Georgia state champ in OT, region final, state semis, and state finals)
  20. I just updated it to reflect the Mid Atlantic Conference at MTSU for the NCWA!
