I was at this game, I believe at least 2 or 3 of the runs were earned, Run #2 was on back to back doubles. As far as your next post about 1st and 3rd, I did see them both drop balls on one play with 2 outs, but I don't think it led to any runs being scored. Good luck to the Owls tomorrow.

Didn't Ooltewah play in this tournament? Results for SoddyDaisy were posted but haven't seen or heard anything about Ooltewah or any one else from the Chatt. area. Just curious if anyone knows anything.

Well I guess ignorance is bliss!, My son graduated from public school last year where he was a state champion wrestler, my daughter attended public school up until this year,she played for Clifford Kirk the last three years so I think she is prepared to play softball. As far as preparing your kids for the real world, let me assure you that public school is a "walk in the park" compared to GPS. Every private school parent is not sitting in judgement of your school. We have some really good friends playing for Ooltewah as well as SoddyDaisy. As a matter of fact Lamar coached my daughter earlier and we like him alot. Some of the posters on here are VERY thin skinned.

I absolutely agree with slim589 that Kenny is by far the best at 189 this year and should win the state. I was responding to a little misinformation stated by sommers in his post. Kenny is a class act, but he is a human being and he has been on his back BEFORE. I don't see anyone doing it this year and I expect him to go all the way. Good luck! thumb

Sommers, Why do you say that K_Town145 has not seen Kenny? He just referenced two matches that he had witnessed where kenny had been pinned! I saw those matches and in neither match was kenny "thrown". In both of those matches one in 2003 and the other last year, Campbell took Kenny down with a firemans carry and then wrapped him up for a pin in less than 35 seconds. In the 4 matches those two wrestled against each other Kenny scored a total of 2 points. Just responding to your hero worship with some FACTS. I do feel that Kenny is the man to beat this year but there is no such thing as an automatic win in wrestling, thats why we all love the sport so much.

Paul Campbell(SD )189 was OW. He pinned Flynt Rudolph(McCallie) in 1:33 in the Semis, and pinned Kenny Merredith(Blackman) in :36 in the Finals.

What teams are participating? Anyone know?

Middle Tenn seems to have better teams year and year out,better than east and west.Im from east tenn,and it seems that west tenn has better 4a tems than 5a.middle tenn is just bigger and stronger.

RB/LB Paul Campbell 5'11" 205 Lbs,WR Trae Jackson 6'1" 180 Lbs,QB Tyler Phelps 6'4" 200 Lbs. all from soddy.

Henderson from SD will be tough.

SD also has #44,much more powerful than #35.#44 has good speed too.

Phelps is a very good Qb,and he will show that this season.
